DUI crash
MILL HALL -- The driver of a 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse was charged with driving under the influence and other offenses following a two vehicle crash at the intersection of Pennsylvania Avenue and Hogan Boulevard in Bald Eagle Township on Jan. 11, state police at Lamar said.
Michael D. Peck, 30, of Mill Hall, was traveling at a high rate of speed along Pennsylvania Avenue when his vehicle rear-ended a 2013 Chevrolet Malibu, driven by a 17-year-old Mill Hall male that was legally stopped at a red light, police said.
The driver of the Malibu reported minor injuries but did not receive treatment, police said.
Peck's vehicle suffered disabling damage and was removed from the scene by Martin Motors, police said. The second vehicle was able to be driven from the scene.
Peck was charged with DUI and other offenses after he reportedly admitted to using an illegal substance prior to operating his vehicle, police said.
Driver flees scene
LOCK HAVEN -- The driver of a 2005 Ford F250 Supercab fled the scene following a one vehicle accident along Little Plum Run Road, Dunnstable Township, on Jan. 10, state police at Lamar said.
At 12:31 a.m., the vehicle was traveling north in the 600 block of the roadway when it traveled off the east side and struck an embankment, police said.
According to reports, the vehicle was removed from the crash site and located a short distance off the roadway to the south, police said.
The vehicle sustained disabling damage and the driver fled the scene prior to police arrival, police said.
Officers were assisted on the scene by Jim Johnson Auto Repair/Towing.
PFA violation
SOUTH RENOVO -- Two individuals were cited for Protection From Abuse order violations following an incident along Pennsylvania Avenue, South Renovo, state police at Lamar said.
Between 8 a.m. on Jan. 7 and 11:36 p.m. on Jan. 11, police received reports of the violation in the 200 Block of the roadway, police said.
Through an investigation it was learned a 39-year-old Renovo woman and 44-year-old Lock Haven man were both in violation of PFAs, police said.
Both individuals were taken into custody and transported to the Clinton County Correctional Facility, police said.
Three vehicle crash involves school bus
FLEMINGTON -- Minor injuries were reported in a three vehicle crash involving a school bus along High Street in Flemington Borough on Jan. 10, state police at Lamar said.
At 9:26 p.m., a 2023 Thomas Built Bus, driven by Robert E. Lanning, Jr., 60, of Shickshinny, Pa., and a 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee, driven by Garry L. Hartman, 68, of Stillwater, Pa., were stopped at a redlight at the intersection of High and Huston streets when a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Michael P. Frank, 29, of Mill Hall, rear ended the Jeep, causing it to rear end the school bus, police said.
According to reports, Frank was traveling at about 35 miles per hour when he accidentally hit the gas pedal instead of the brake, leading to the crash.
Minor injuries were reported and Hartman's vehicle was towed from the scene by Martin Motors, police said.
Frank was cited in relation to registration requirements, police said.
One vehicle crash
CROSS FORK -- The driver of a 2015 Subaru Impreza was not injured following a one vehicle crash along Stewart Hill Road in Leidy Township on Jan. 11, state police at Lamar said.
At 8:14 a.m., Daniel S. Lindgren, 36, of Cross Fork, was traveling south on the roadway when he attempted to negotiate a left curve in the roadway when the vehicle began to slide, police said.
The vehicle left the road on the west berm and continued for about 10 feet before striking a concrete barrier, police said.
Lindgren was cited in relation to driving a vehicle at an unsafe speed, police said.
Disorderly conduct
RENOVO -- Jeremiah Wilson, 41, of Renovo, was cited for disorderly conduct following an incident along Huron Avenue in Renovo Borough on Jan. 10, state police at Lamar said.
According to police, at 2:57 a.m. Wilson allegedly kicked the front door of a residence of a 28-year-old woman and 21-year-old woman, both of Renovo, police said.
A non-traffic citation was filed through District Judge Frank Mills' office.
Harassment
LAMAR -- A 36-year-old Mill Hall woman was cited for harassment following an incident along Long Run Road, Lamar Township, on Jan. 10, state police at Lamar said.
Officers were called to the area at 11:48 p.m. for reports of physical contact that occurred following a verbal altercation involving the woman and a 40-year-old Mill Hall man, police said.
A harassment citation was filed through District Judge Heidi Wright's office.
One vehicle crash
CASTANEA -- A 2014 Mazda CX9 was traveling about 70 miles per hour on wet roadways along state Route 220 in Castanea Township prior to crashing on Jan. 11, state police at Lamar said.
At 8:48 a.m., Brynn G. Conklin, 26, of Morrisdale, Pa., was traveling along the roadway when she lost control of the vehicle, leaving the east side of the road and striking a guide rail, police said.
The vehicle came back onto the roadway and traveled across both lanes before striking another guide rail on the west side of the lanes, police said.
Conklin was not injured as a result of the crash but the vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene by Martin Motors, police said.
Conklin was cited in relation to driving on roadways laned for traffic, police said.
Police were assisted on the scene by fire and EMS personnel.
Vehicle crashes on snowy roads
LAMAR -- The driver of a 2017 Toyota Corolla was cited for not driving her vehicle at safe speeds following a one vehicle crash along Interstate 80 West, Porter Township, on Jan. 11, state police at Lamar said.
At 4:05 a.m., Amylee F. Velez, 19, of Newark, N.J., was traveling west on the roadway when she lost control due to snow-covered roadways, spinning counter clockwise before striking a guide rail on the left shoulder, causing disabling damage, police said.
Velez was not injured as a result of the crash, police said.
