Reckless endangerment
MILL HALL — A 45-year-old Mill Hall man was charged with reckless endangerment after state police at Lamar responded to reports of shots being fired in the area of Mill Branch Road, Bald Eagle Township on Dec. 24.
At 2:57 p.m., police responded to the area for reports of shots fired where it was determined Steven Eoute, while seated in his vehicle, was confronted by the victims — owners of the property — about being on private property, police said. It was later determined Eoute was creating adult TikTok content for his partner in a wooded area of the private property, police said.
Eoute fired multiple rounds from a handgun in an unknown direction while driving off with the victims still in the immediate area, police said.
Charges were filed through District Judge Heidi Wright’s office.
One vehicle crash
LOGANTON — Minor injuries were reported in a one vehicle crash along East Valley Road, Greene Township on Dec. 25, state police at Lamar said.
At 6:11 p.m., Dillon M. Covalt, 24, of Loganton, was traveling east on the roadway when he failed to negotiate a slight left curve in the roadway, causing his 2011 Jeep Wrangler to leave the southside of the road and strike a roadside fence, overturning on its roof, police said.
Covalt suffered a minor injury in the crash, police said.
The vehicle was towed from the scene by Bressler’s Towing and Covalt was cited for not driving at a safe speed, police said.
Sexual assault investigation
RENOVO — State police at Lamar are currently investigating an alleged sexual assault that occurred between Oct. 29, 2024 and Nov. 16, 2024 in Renovo Borough.
No injuries
LOCKPORT — The driver of a 2014 Kia Sorento was not injured following a one vehicle crash along Brewery Hollow Road near its intersection with Lin Ridge Drive, Woodward Township on Dec. 28, state police at Lamar said.
Denise L. Wheeler, 37, of Lock Haven, was traveling south on the roadway when the vehicle left the right side of the roadway causing her to overcorrect, police said.
The vehicle traveled across the roadway and struck an embankment on the left side of the roadway before traveling up the embankment and overturning, police said.
The vehicle sustained disabling damage but Wheeler was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the crash, police said.
Wheeler was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence and charged in relation to driving on roadways laned for traffic, police said.
Two vehicle crash
LAMAR — Suspected minor injuries were reported in a two vehicle crash at the intersection of Frank D. O’Reilly Jr. Highway and the entrance to Interstate 80 West, Lamar Township on Dec. 26, state police at Lamar said.
At 3:40 p.m., Sukhrob Melikov, 34, of Brooklyn, N.Y., was exiting Interstate 80 when he failed to yield to a stop sign, causing his 2021 Freightliner to strike 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander, driven by Renae K. Fenstamaker, 57, of Loganton, who was traveling south on Frank D. O’Reilly Highway, police said.
The collision caused disabling front end damage to both vehicles, police said.
Fenstamaker was transported from the scene by Lamar Township Volunteer Fire Company for suspected minor injuries, police said.
Melikov was cited in relation to obedience to traffic-control devices, police said.
Criminal trespass
RENOVO — A 43-year-old Renovo man was arrested for defiant trespass and other charges following an incident along Huron Avenue, Renovo Borough on Nov. 8, state police at Lamar said.
At 7:10 p.m., Bower allegedly went to a property along the roadway and assaulted a 60-year-old North Bend man and 52-year-old Renovo man, police said.
Bower was arrested and charged with defiant trespass and two counts of harassment through District Judge Frank Mills’ office, police said.
Harassment
RENOVO — A 37-year-old Renovo male and 14-year-old Renovo male were both cited for harassment following an incident along Schuylkill Avenue, Renovo Borough on Nov. 8, state police at Lamar said.
According to police, at 5:45 p.m. a physical altercation was reported between the individuals, police said.
Charges were filed through District Judge Frank Mills’ office, police said.
Retail theft
MILL HALL — A 27-year-ol Lock Haven man was arrested for retail theft following an incident at Walmart along Hogan Boulevard in Mill Hall on Nov. 14, state police at Lamar said.
At 3:28 p.m., Adryan Selleck allegedly used the self check out and under rang multiple food items including Hormel pepperoni, valued at $3.97; Healthy Choice meal, valued at $3.42; and 4.5 pounds of lean ground beef, valued at $27.67, police said.
Charges were filed through District Judge Heidi Wright’s office, police said.
