LOCK HAVEN -- The following court proceedings were held before district judges:
-- Jessica Matter, of Mill Hall, charged with providing a materially false written statement-purchase, delivery, transfer of firearm and making a statement under penalty, waived for court.
-- Kevin Leroy Best, of Lock Haven, charged with driving under the influence-first offense and reckless driving, waived for court.
-- Brandon Lee Sherman, of Montrose, Pa., charged with receiving advance payment for services and failing to perform, deceitful business practices-sell less than quantity and theft by deception-false impression, waived for court.
-- Bradley O. Bertin, of Lock Haven, charged with driving under the influence-first offense, driving while intoxicated with a suspended license, driving while license is suspended or revoked-third or subsequent violation, waived for court.
-- Laura Ashley Havens, of Altoona, charged with two counts of intentional possession of a controlled substance by a person not registered, operating a vehicle without valid inspection and failure to use safety belt-driver and front seat occupant, withdrawn, charged with exceeding the speed limit by 21 mph in a 65 or 70 mph zone and driving an unregistered vehicle, moved to non-traffic citations.
