Simple assault, others
LOCK HAVEN — Lily Dugan, 27, was arrested by Woodward Township Police for assault causing injury and resisting arrest on Jan. 17, 2025.
Police said Dugan was found in possession of drug paraphernalia and transported to the Clinton County Correctional Facility, pending preliminary arraignment.
Theft of $160,000
TUSSEYVILLE — A 67-year-old Centre Hall man had $160,000 taken from his Northwest Savings Bank account after his account information was accessed by an unknown party and funds were transferred out of his account, according to state police at Rockview.
Police said the investigation is ongoing.
Retail theft
SNOW SHOE — A 50-year-old Blanchard woman was charged with shoplifting several items from the Dollar General in Snow Shoe on Dec. 14, 2024, according to state police at Rockview.
The 13 items, which were primarily cosmetics and hygiene products, totaled $91.25 in value, police said.
Harassment
MILESBURG — A 17-year-old Milesburg male has been charged with harassment following an incident on a school bus, according to state police at Rockview.
The charges, filed on Jan. 13, stem from allegations that the boy was “sexually humping” the seat back occupied by a 9-year-old male victim, as well as slapping, poking and rubbing the younger boy’s head.
Police said that the case has been referred to Centre County Juvenile Probation.
Fight
UNIONVILLE — Shane Stimer, 25, of Julian, and Devin Kibe, 22, of Port Matilda, were cited for harassment following a physical altercation on Dec. 22, 2024, at 2 a.m., on Union Street in Unionville Borough, according to state police at Rockview.
Domestic dispute
MILESBURG — Elijah Colborn, 27, of State College, was arrested on Jan. 3 on the 200 block of Neff’s Road in Boggs Township following a domestic violence incident involving a 28-year-old woman from Howard, according to state police at Rockview.
Police said a door frame, valued at $300, was damaged during the incident.
DUI
CENTRE HALL — A 34-year-old State College woman, was taken into custody for driving under the influence of alcohol in a 2004 Honda Civic on the 2900 block of Penns Valley Pike in Potter Township on Dec. 7, 2024, at 1:25 a.m., according to state police at Rockview.
Domestic dispute
PLEASANT GAP — Ashley Ripka, 36, of Port Matilda, was issued two non-traffic citations for harassment following a domestic dispute involving a 38-year-old man from Pleasant Gap and a 35-year-old woman from Bellefonte. The incident occurred on Granite Drive in Spring Township on Jan. 3 around 4 a.m., according to state police at Rockview.
Over $900 theft
GROVE PARK — A 45-year-old man from Bellefonte had $927.87 stolen from his checking account after an actor wrote a check out to himself using the victim’s checking information on Jan. 17, according to state police at Rockview.
Single vehicle accident,
minor injury
HOWARD — Hunter Alters, 27, of Howard, was charged with driving at an unsafe speed after losing control of a 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt on a snow-covered section of Old Route 220, west of Mount Eagle Road, on the afternoon of Jan. 19, according to state police at Rockview.
The vehicle struck an embankment and overturned onto its roof, police said.
Alters sustained minor injuries and was transported to Mount Nittany Medical Center by Bellefonte EMS.
DUI
PLEASANT GAP — A 24-year-old Lock Haven woman was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following a traffic stop on Dec. 8, 2024, at 2:24 a.m., on the 100 block of East College Avenue in Spring Township, according to state police at Rockview.
Drug possession
MILESBURG — Kevin Miller, 25, of Youngstown, Ohio, was arrested on multiple warrants after state police at Rockview responded to a report of a disabled motorist on Interstate 80 East in Boggs Township.
A search warrant for the Nissan Altima that Miller was operating yielded a small amount of marijuana. Charges for drug possession are pending, police said.
