Teen cited for
underage drinking
LOGANTON — State police at Lamar were called to East Main Street in Loganton on Feb. 10 for an alleged underage drinking incident.
The incident occurred at 2 p.m. and involved a 14-year-old Mill Hall boy, who was cited through District Judge Heidi Wright’s office, police said.
Retail theft
MILL HALL — A 45-year-old Jersey Shore woman was cited for retail theft after an incident that occurred at Walmart in Mill Hall on Feb. 9, state police at Lamar said.
According to police, at 8:08 p.m. Carrie Darwin took kids’ Disney shoes and a maxi dress, valued at $23.96, from the store by passing through the points of sale without paying, police said.
Darwin allegedly fled the scene following the incident, police said.
Charges of retail theft were filed through District Judge Heidi Wright’s office, police said.
No injuries
MILL HALL — No injuries were reported in a one vehicle crash along North Water Street in Mill Hall on Feb. 6, state police at Lamar said.
Michael David F. Lachat, 19, of Lock Haven, was traveling along the roadway in his 2002 Ford Focus when he failed to negotiate a straight section of the roadway, causing the vehicle to travel off the right side of the road and striking a residence before leaving the scene, police said.
Lachat was cited in relation to driving a vehicle at safe speeds following the incident, police said.
Two cited for harassment
BEECH CREEK — Two Beech Creek residents were cited for harassment following an incident along Berry Road in Beech Creek Township on Feb. 6, state police at Lamar said.
According to police, at about 4 p.m., a physical altercation took place between a 42-year-old man and 23-year-old man in the 400 block of the road, police said.
Both men were charged with summary harassment through District Judge Heidi Wright’s office, police said.
One vehicle crash
MILL HALL — The driver of a 2016 Chrysler was not injured following a one vehicle crash along Eagle Valley Road in Bald Eagle Township on Feb. 6, state police at Lamar said.
Susan K. Hoffman, 52, of Beech Creek, was traveling north on the roadway when she lost control of the vehicle, rotating 360 degrees before traveling off the east side and striking a utility pole, police said.
Hoffman’s vehicle sustained disabling damage as a result and was towed from the scene by Tressler’s Garage, police said.
Hoffman was cited in relation to driving a vehicle at safe speeds, police said.
Argument turns physical
MILL HALL — A 31-year-old Mill Hall woman and a 40-year-old Jersey Shore man were cited for harassment after police were called to Church Street in Mill Hall on Feb. 5, state police at Lamar said.
At 2:45 a.m., officers responded to an active domestic argument where the pair were involved in a dispute which turned physical in nature, police said.
Both individuals were cited for harassment through District Judge Heidi Wright’s office.
