DUI

SWISSDALE — Shauna Seyler, 42, of Haneyville, was charged with three counts of drug related DUI and a summary traffic offense stemming from an incident that occurred on the evening of Feb. 14 along Coudersport Pike in Woodward Township, according to the Woodward Township Police Department.

After a motorist allegedly reported Seyler was repeatedly departing her lane, Woodward Township Police located the vehicle and subsequently arrested her for driving under the influence of a controlled substance. A blood draw determined the presence of a Schedule I controlled substance in her system, police said.

Seyler was incarcerated in the Clinton County Prison on a probation violation detainer, police said.

Man Life Flighted

HUBLERSBURG — Alyssa Lewis, 18, of Howard, was charged after allegedly causing an accident that sent a 67-year-old Mill Hall man to Geisinger Hospital in Danville via Life Flight, according to state police at Rockview.

Lewis, operating a 2014 Chrysler Sebring, proceeded from a stop sign on Hublersburg Road onto Route 64 without proper clearance, causing the operator of the other vehicle, a 1997 Ford Escort, to sideswipe her car before crashing into a concrete wall, police said.

Criminal trespass

RENOVO — Robin Wilson, 57, of Renovo, was charged with defiant criminal trespass stemming from an incident that occurred at Ransdorf Manor at 350 Huron Ave, Renovo, according to the Renovo Police Department.

Wilson was allegedly at the property, without permission, to retrieve property involved in a civil dispute, police said.

Deer collision

JULIAN — At 8:57 p.m. on March 4, Gary Klinger, 52, of Snow Shoe, struck a deer on Interstate-99 in Huston Township, according to state police at Rockview.

Deer causes disabling damages

JACKSONVILLE — Devin Raymond, 30, of Howard, struck a deer, causing disabling damage to the front end of her 2020 Chevrolet Bolt on Feb 28 at 4:28 a.m. on Jacksonville Road, according to state police at Rockview.

Three arrested for drug possession

MILESBURG — Morrell Givens, 47, and Lisa Duran, 55, both of Albuquerque, N. M., and Christal Rosales, 40, of Augusta, Ga., were taken into custody after a traffic stop on Interstate-80 westbound revealed the vehicle operator had a felony extraditable warrant from New Mexico and was in possession of methamphetamine, according to state police at Rockview.

A search of the vehicle yielded suspected meth, heroin and drug paraphernalia, police said.

All occupants of the vehicle were arraigned on the morning of Feb. 9 and thereafter unable to post bail.

Ice-related crash

SPRING MILLS — On Feb. 15 at 8:07 p.m., Wyatt Daub, 24, of Centre Hall, was travelling on Brush Valley Road when he lost control of the 2007 Ford Ranger he was operating on the ice covered roadway, according to state police at Rockview.

Daub crossed the westbound lane of travel before exiting the roadway and making an initial impact into a ditch/embankment with the vehicle’s front end and undercarriage, causing disabling damage, police said.

Rollover crash

MINGOVILLE — Hunter Henney, 22, of Howard, received minor injuries in an accident on Nittany Valley Drive on Feb. 15, around noon, after he lost control and rolled into a ditch, according to state police at Rockview.

Henney, who was charged for driving on roadways laned for traffic, was taken to Mount Nittany Medical Center as a precaution, police said.

Disorderly conduct

MILLHEIM — Vincent Montlick, 64, of Aaronsburg, was charged with disorderly conduct after an altercation with a 49-year-old Millheim man on Jan. 25 around 1 p.m. on West Main Street in Millheim Borough, according to state police at Rockview.

Theft of funds

BELLEFONTE — On Jan. 17, a 45-year-old Bellefonte man allegedly had $927.87 taken from his account after an actor wrote a check out to himself using the victim’s checking information, according to state police at Rockview.

Theft of funds

SPRING MILLS — $362 was stolen from a 43-year-old Spring Mills woman on Feb. 3 from her bank card, according to state police at Rockview.

There are no investigatory leads at this time. Anyone with information is urged to call 814-355-7545, police said.

Hit and run

SWISSDALE — On the evening of March 14, Woodward Township Police were called to investigate a hit and run crash where a tractor trailer drove off the roadway and damaged property along Coudersport Pike, according to police.

Gurdeep Singh, 37, of Sacramento, Calif., allegedly continued for several miles before being stopped by township police.

It was found, in addition to the hit and run, that the commercial vehicle had multiple violations, including being totally unregistered, having a registration plate displayed which did not belong on the truck, having an uninspected truck and trailer and other commercial vehicle specific violations, according to the Woodward Township Police Department.

Singh and the company, Kaynaat Transportation, Inc., were both cited with 14 various violations.

Theft of laptop

DUNNSTOWN — On March 14, it was reported that an ASUS TUF A17 Gaming Laptop, valued at $2,265, was stolen from a residence on Hickory Drive in Dunnstown several weeks earlier, according to the Woodward Township Police Department.

Police said a known individual took the computer from the victim’s residence and refused to return it.
