Criminal mischief

RENOVO — On March 18, at 4:50 p.m., state police at Lamar responded to an incident on 1st Street in Renovo Borough.

The victim was a 74-year-old female, with the incident involving a 2010 red Toyota Rav 4 SUV, police said.

The investigation is continuing.

PFA violation

MILL HALL — On March 5, at 6:14 p.m., state police at Lamar responded to a Renovo Road incident involving a 35-year-old Mill Hall female and a 35-year-old male, of Stratford, Conn.

According to police, they are continuing an investigation into the reported PFA violation which occurred over the internet.

More specifically, a potential violation occurred when a listed “protected person” was contacted over Facebook by the subject, police said.

The male, no name listed, was barred from contacting the female over social media. Charges have been filed against the man through District Judge Heidi Wright’s office.

Harassment with contact

LAMAR — On March 17, at 7:19 p.m., state police at Lamar responded to an address on Sun Valley Road in Lamar Township for the report of a domestic situation.

Police indicated the incident involved a victim, a 46-year-old male, of Bellefonte.

During the incident, police arrested a 45-year-old female, of Mill Hall, and a 57-year-old male, of Lock Haven.

Charges are being filed through District Judge Heidi Wright’s office.

Juvenile harassed

LOGANTON — On March 13, at approximately 12:30 p.m., state police at Lamar responded to an address on North Mill Street in Loganton for the report of a juvenile being harassed.

The incident involved a 10-year-old Loganton male who was the victim.

Police are continuing their investigation.

Trespassing

RENOVO — State police at Lamar were notified of an alleged trespassing incident at a location on Raccoon Lane in Leidy Township between April 1 and April 30, 2024.

The victim is a 69-year-old male, of Oxford, Pa. Police are continuing their investigation of the incident.

Residential burglary

AVIS — On March 15, at 11 a.m., state police at Lamar responded to an incident at East Central Avenue in Avis for the report of an inactive domestic.

Through investigation it was alleged Seth Carson, 36, of Jersey Shore, forced his way into the residence of a 32-year-old Avis female and refused to leave, police said.

During the argument, Carson grabbed the victim and also licked her face. A 42 inch Onn TV, valued at $100, was damaged during the incident, police said.

The arrestee was located, taken into custody and charged through District Judge Keith Kibler’s office.

Ice causes crash

LOGANTON — State police at Lamar responded to the report of a vehicle crash on Rauchtown Road in Greene Township on March 18 at approximately 5:13 a.m.

The driver, Quinton Murawski, 28, of Salladasburg was operating a 2016 Kia Soul, traveling southbound on Route 880 when it hit a patch of ice on the roadway.

Murawski lost control of the vehicle which left the roadway, struck an embankment and became disabled. Murawski was wearing a seat belt and sustained minor injuries but refused transport to a local hospital, police said.

He was cited for a driving violation.

Police indicated that Sugar Valley Fire Company and EMS assisted at the scene.

Light pole struck

MILL HALL — On March 18, state police at Lamar responded to a crash at the Mill Brook Plaza about 66 feet north of Hogan Boulevard in Bald Eagle Township.

According to police, the crash occurred when Russell Elkins, 53, of Lock Haven, was traveling south in a 2013 Nissan Rogue, and lost control of the vehicle.

The vehicle traveled in the opposing lane and struck a light pole causing front end damage that disabled the vehicle, police said. Elkins was reportedly wearing his seat belt and was not injured in the crash.
