Simple assault
LOCK HAVEN — A 34-year-old man was arrested for simple assault following an incident on April 7 along North Grove Street, Lock Haven City Police said.
At about 11:50 p.m., Zach Nagel, of Gallitzin, struck a victim in the head and body multiple times, causing them to fall to the ground while he continued to strike them, police said.
The victim suffered a large laceration to their head which required stitches, police said.
Hit and run
LOCK HAVEN — Lock Haven City Police received a report of a hit and run recently in the area of West Bald Eagle Street.
According to police, on April 10 between 9 and 9:40 a.m., a vehicle parked in the 200 block of the street was struck.
No information was left by the striking vehicle, police said.
Man breaks window
LOCK HAVEN — Melvin Elias, 56, of Lock Haven, was arrested for simple assault following an incident on April 15, Lock Haven City Police said.
At about 7 p.m., Elias allegedly broke a glass pane in a door of an apartment in the 100 Block of East Main Street to get inside, police said.
When he broke the glass, police said Elias caused injuries to the victim’s hand and face, police said.
Two vehicle crash
LOCK HAVEN — Two vehicles were involved in a crash at the intersection of West Bald Eagle and West Park streets on April 22, Lock Haven City Police said.
At about 3 p.m., a vehicle, no description given, was traveling north on West Park Street when it attempted to turn onto West Bald Eagle Street, striking another vehicle, no description given, traveling west on the roadway, police said.
The driver of the first vehicle told police he couldn’t see the other vehicle due to other cars parked along the street, police said.
Vehicle towed from crash
LOCK HAVEN — A vehicle was removed from the scene of a two vehicle crash at the intersection of West Bald Eagle and Commerce streets on April 23, Lock Haven City Police said.
At about 2:40 p.m., a vehicle, no description given, was traveling south on Commerce Street when it stopped at a stop sign at the intersection, police said.
After stopping, the vehicle proceeded into the intersection and struck a second vehicle, no description given, traveling west on Bald Eagle Street, police said.
The first vehicle was towed from the scene and the driver was cited for their role in the crash, police said.
PFA violation
LOCK HAVEN — A 21-year-old Lock Haven man was arrested for a Protection From Abuse Order violation on April 22, Lock Haven City Police said.
On April 22 at about 3 p.m., Conner Wagner was found in an apartment in the 600 Block of East Bald Eagle Street that he was evicted from through the PFA, police said.
Parked vehicle struck
LOCK HAVEN — A driver struck a parked vehicle on April 28 while traveling near the intersection of East Main and North Grove streets, Lock Haven City Police said.
According to police, a vehicle, no description given, was traveling north on Grover Street when they turned onto East Main and struck a parked vehicle on the north side of the roadways, police said.
The first vehicle was towed from the scene, police said.
