Single vehicle crash
BEECH CREEK -- State police at Lamar responded to a motor vehicle accident on May 4 at 6:30 a.m. along Railroad Street in Beech Creek Township. According to police, the 15 year old driver was operating a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado in the area of 352 Bald Eagle Mountain Road when it traveled off the north side of the highway, down an embankment and struck a concrete culvert. The vehicle then rotated onto its side and came to rest partially on the railroad tracks. The male driver was not injured in the crash, but will be cited, police said.
Three-vehicle accident
FLEMINGTON -- On May 3, at approximately 12:48 p.m., state police at Lamar were called to High Street near Sturdevant Street in Flemington Borough for the report of a three vehicle crash. Police said that a 2001 Ford Focus being driven by Justin Blachek, 36, of Lock Haven, was traveling north on High Street (SR 150) and did not observe that two vehicles in front of him had slowed for a vehicle that was pulling into an alley off of High Street. Blachek's vehicle struck the rear of a 2018 Mazda CX-5 being driven by Ashleigh Neff, 31, of Lock Haven. The Neff vehicle was then pushed forward into the rear of a 2018 Volkswagon Atlas being operated by Chelsea Eggler, 31, of Lock Haven.
Police said that no one was injured as a result of the crash. The Blachek vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene by Martin Motors. Blachek was cited for following too closely, police said.
Criminal trespass
NORTH BEND -- On April 18, at 3:30 p.m., state police at Lamar were called by a 75 year old man of Delmont, Pa., for the report of a trespass incident at Hyner River Road in Grugan Township. Police said their investigation is continuing.
Harassment
LOGANTON -- On April 26 around noon, state police at Lamar were called to an address on Summer Mountain Road in Logan Township for the report of harassment with physical contact of a 15 year old Loganton female.
Police said that the investigation revealed the claims were unfounded.
Wallet found
LAMAR -- On April 26, at 11:12 a.m., state police at Lamar were called to 346 Furnace Road in Porter Township. Police indicated that a wallet had been found and was being returned to its rightful owner.
PFA violation
BEECH CREEK -- On April 25, at approximately 10:48 a.m., state police at Lamar were called to a residence on Masden Hollow Road in Beech Creek Township for the report of a PFA violation.
Police said the victim, a 65-year-old Beech Creek female, was not to be contacted by the 69-year-old Beech Creek male. Police said the male was arrested for violating the court ordered PFA and will be charged through District Judge Heidi Wright's office.
Two vehicles damaged
LAMAR -- On April 25, at 1:21 a.m., state police at Lamar were called to I-80 in the area of mile marker 171-S in Porter Township, for the report of two vehicles being damaged in separate accidents.
Police said a 2022 Volvo being driven by Taranjit Singh, 32, of Avondale, Ariz., struck a guide rail, traveled through the guide rail and struck an embankment and a tree. Singh was wearing a seat belt and was not injured in the crash, police said.
A second accident occurred when Amirbek Shomurodov, 29, of Brooklyn, N.Y., was operating a Volvo and came upon the first collison. Shomurodov's vehicle drove over a guide rail that was in the right lane of travel, causing an oil leak and damage to the undercarriage. Shomurodov was able to come to a controlled stop on the shoulder of the highway.
Police said Singh was cited for driving on roadways laned for traffic.
PFA violation
LOCK HAVEN -- Woodward Township Police arrested Dalon Ward, 33, of Trout Run, for violating a Protection From Abuse order on May 13, 2025. Ward is alleged to have violated the terms of the PFA order and was still in the area of the victim at the time of police arrival. According to police, Ward was taken into custody and incarcerated in the Clinton County Correctional Facility on a $100,000 bail and probation violation detainer.
Police said the incident happened at a Lilac Lane residence in Lock Haven.
