ASHTON PETERS/FOR THE EXPRESS

At approximately 1 p.m. on June 19, emergency crews were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident with entrapment at the lower end of the Weis Markets parking lot, 1 Millbrook Plaza Lane, Bald Eagle Township. The incident involved two vehicles and initially raised concerns of entrapment. Upon arrival, first responders quickly assessed the scene and all occupants were able to safely exit the vehicles. No injuries were reported. The scene was subsequently turned over to the Pennsylvania State Police for investigation. Responding units included Flemington Goodwill Hose EMS, Station 4, Station 6 and PSP.
