At approximately 10:32 a.m., emergency units were dispatched to a vehicle fire in the parking lot of the Restless Oaks Restaurant in Wayne Township. Upon arrival, crews found a vehicle fully engulfed in flames. The vehicle was not obstructing other cars or nearby structures. Small popping sounds were observed as the fire intensified. For the safety of all on scene, the area was cleared as crews worked to contain the blaze. Responding agencies included: Station 10 (primary), Station 3, Station 5, and Station 8. All units were cleared from the scene by 11:15 a.m. No injuries were reported, no cause of the fire at the time of press.
