Burglary
CROSS FORK — On April 26, at 9:59 a.m., police were called by a 68 year old male of Cross Fork alleging that a burglary had occurred at his residence in Leidy Township.
Police responded and conducted an investigation that ultimately determined that no items had been stolen and that a burglary had not occurred.
Police said their investigation concluded when the items were located within the residence and had just been misplaced.
Police said the incident would be listed as unfounded.
Sexual assault
MILL HALL — On April 30, at 11 a.m., state police at Lamar were called to Keystone Central Drive in Bald Eagle Township for the report of a sexual assault by a 16 year old Lock Haven male.
Police said their investigation revealed the claims were unfounded and no further action took place.
Assault charges
LOGANTON — On April 23, state police at Lamar were called to an address on Summer Mountain Road in Logan Township for the report of an assault.
Troopers were dispatched for a domestic incident between a 14 year old and his mother. Police said that the male juvenile allegedly struck his mother in the head with a Play Station controller, kicked her in the stomach and scratched her arm.
Police said that the investigation was continuing and that charges would be filed against the juvenile.
Suspects identified
RENOVO — On April 26, state police at Lamar responded to a call from Erie Avenue in Renovo Borough for the report of a third party on an active fight. Police arrived on scene to find that a fight was not observed.
Police said nan area canvas was conducted and a victim, a 37 year old Renovo man, was identified.
Police said that after speaking with the victim, and after the suspects had been identified, he declined to press charges. No charges were filed in the incident.
PFA violation
JERSEY SHORE — State police at Lamar responded to an incident that occured on May 18, between 11:30 a.m. and noon, at an address on Rauchtown Road in Crawford Township.
According to police, a 22 year old female was the victim of the PFA violation.
Police said their investigation is ongoing.
Property found
LOGANTON — State police are investigating a report of found property that occurred on April 27 in the area of 155 Campground Road, Logan Township.
Police said a Smith and Wesson M&P Shield 9mm handgun along with a magazine and Hornady ammunition were found.
Police urge the owner to contact Trooper Hall at the state police barracks in Lamar in person or by calling 570-726-6000 and referencing incident PA2025-508515.
Criminal mischief
AVIS — On May 10, state police at Lamar were called to an address on Railroad Street in Avis Borough for the report of a criminal mischief incident.
According to police, the victim, a 42 year old male of Jersey Shore, had reported that a known suspect arrived at the address and smashed a window.
Police said that the homeowner then declined to file charges.
Shoplifting
MILL HALL — State police at Lamar responded to the Mill Hall Walmart on May 9 for the report of retail theft/shoplifting.
Police said the suspect, Dillyn Reibsome, a 19 year old male of Bloomsburg, had failed to properly ring up a water bottle, valued at $29.94.
Police said that charges for summary retail theft were filed through MDJ Heidi Wright’s office.
Identity theft
MILL HALL — State police at Lamar are investigating a report of identity theft that occurred on May 20. Police said that the victim, Jason Jones, 53, of Mill Hall, had reported the theft by deception identity theft.
Criminal mischief
JERSEY SHORE — State police at Lamar responded to an incident on Barger Road in Crawford Township on May 17 at 5:30 p.m.
According to police, a 70 year old Jersey Shore male reported that a bullet hole was observed in an outbuilding that had caused damage to the building and a DeWalt saw.
Through investigation, the shooter was identified, but the owner of the building declined to file charges.
Two arrested
LAMAR — A state police officer from the Lamar barracks stopped a 2025 gray Hyundai on May 12 at 6:04 p.m., on 1-80 westbound for Title 75 violations. During the stop, numerous indicators of criminal activity were observed. The occupants consented to a vehicle search which yielded approximately nine grams of suspected cocaine and a stolen handgun which was hidden inside of a natural void in the vehicle.
Police said that Jerome Bellamy, 52, and Tammy Johnson, 54, both of Jamestown, N.Y., were arrested and charges were being filed through District Justice Heidi Wright’s office.
Accidental shooting
FLEMINGTON — State police at Lamar are continuing their investigation into the report of an accidental shooting at 300 Birch Street in Flemington Borough on May 16.
Harassment
LOGANTON — State police at Lamar were called to an address along Summer Mountain Road in Loganton on May 15 for the report of harassment with physical contact.
Once on scene, police conducted an investigation and then determined the arrestee, Mindie Wetzel, 38, of Loganton, struck the victim, a 40 year old Loganton man, in the back.
Police said charges for harassment were filed at District Judge Heidi Wright’s office.
Driver flees crash
MILL HALL — State police at Lamar were called to the area of Keystone Central Drive near the intersection of Plunket Run Road for a vehicle accident on May 15, at approximately 8 p.m.
Police said a one vehicle hit and run crash occurred at this location involving the driver, David Hibbler, 31, of Lock Haven.
Police said the vehicle, a 2016 Chev. Trax, crossed over the center line, drove in the wrong lane of travel for a short distance, struck the guide rail on the left side of the road and then struck an embankment on the right side of the road. The vehicle flipped over and came to a final rest on its roof.
Police said Hibbler fled the scene before police arrived, but was charged for not notifying police of an accident where towing was required. Police filed charges through District Judge Heidi Wright’s office.
Harassment
MILL HALL — On May 15, around 6 p.m., state police at Lamar were called to a report of a domestic dispute at Lionel Lane / Merlyn Drive in Bald Eagle Township.
According to police, one female was charged with harassment from the incident.
Cash found
MILL HALL — On May 14, state police at Lamar responded to the report of a lump sum of cash that had been found in the vicinity of 5609 Nittany Valley Drive in Porter Township.
Police said that anyone with information regarding this incident may contact the Lamar barracks at 570-726-6000 and reference incident PA2025-583563.
Terroristic threats
MILL HALL — On May 12 at approximately 8:16 a.m., state police at Lamar were called to the Central Mountain Middle School, 200 Ben Ave., Mill Hall.
Police were informed that a former student was making threats to shoot up the school. The actor was located and taken into custody and charged with terroristic threats, a third degree felony. The student, a 12 year old from Lock Haven, was transferred into the custody of the Clinton County Juvenile Probation Dept.
Police said there were no additional threats and this was considered an isolated incident.
Parking lot hit and run
RENOVO — Renovo Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that occurred the evening of June 16 in the parking lot of the Lions Den, 9427 Renovo Road, in Chapman Township.
According to police, a white 2015 Honda Pilot was allegedly struck by an unknown vehicle, causing minor damage.
The investigation is ongoing.
Theft of items
LOGANTON — State police at Lamar were notified on April 16 by a Loganton man that several items had been stolen from him. Police responded and a suspect was developed through an investigation.
Police were able to recover the stolen items the same day.
Police said some of the items recovered included a Streamlight Microstream battery and USB and Chippewa boots.
Interlock violation
DUNNSTOWN — On June 7, just before 11 p.m., Robert Joseph Miller, 54, of Lock Haven, was charged with illegally operating a vehicle not equipped with an ignition interlock device and for driving without headlights at night, according to the Woodward Township Police Department.
Police said Miller was pulled over in the area of Woodward Avenue and Mill Hall Road after officers observed the vehicle with no lights on.
An investigation determined that Miller was required to have an ignition interlock device due to multiple prior DUI convictions.
Stolen gas
COUDERSPORT — Woodward Township Police investigated a gasoline theft on June 19.
Police said that the owner of a lot along Coudersport Pike Road reported that someone had attempted to steal gas by siphoning it from a boat parked on his property. A gas can and hose were found next to the boat when the property owner stopped at the loat.
Suspicious person
FARRANDSVILLE — Woodward Township Police investigated the report of a suspicious person on June 19 at 9:50 a.m.
According to township police, a report of a person acting suspiciously and taking pictures of passing cars along Farrandsville Road near Queens Run Road was lodged. When questioned by a passing motorist, the suspicious man gave a vague answer as to what he was doing.
Police did not locate any one in the area upon their arrival.
Motorcycle crash
LOCK HAVEN — On June 20, at approximately 7:15 p.m., Woodward Township police investigated a one-vehicle motorcycle crash which occurred on Fargus Island Road, just south of East Guardlock Drive, in Woodward Township.
Police said 70-year-old James Pletcher, of Lock Haven, was driving a 2008 Victory motorcycle south on Fargus Island Road when he failed to negotiate a left hand curve in the roadway.
Police said Pletcher traveled off the right side of the road and struck a brick wall.
He was initially transported by Jersey Shore EMS to Lock Haven Hospital and later transferred to Williamsport Hospital. Pletcher sustained several serious injuries, according to police.
Martin Motor Company towed the motorcycle from the scene and the Woolrich Fire Company assisted at the scene, police said.
Fight between brothers
JERSEY SHORE — State police responded to 3324 Rauchtown Road in Crawford Township for the report of a fight between two brothers. On May 7, at 8:51 a.m., police responded to an argument between the brothers over a phone cord.
Police said Trenton Gee, 18, of Jersey Shore, was the victim in the assault. His younger brother, a 15 year old male juvenile, was charged during the incident.
