Renovo man pleads guilty to sexual assault

RENOVO — Clinton County District Attorney Dave Strouse announced Tuesday that Kenneth Eugene Orwig, 68, of 6th St., Renovo, pleaded guilty at the Court of Common Pleas before President Judge Craig P. Miller, to aggravated indecent assault to a person with a mental disability, a felony of the second degree.
Charges were filed by Trooper Logan Webb, of state police’s Lamar barracks, on Feb. 2, according to a release from Strouse’s office via Crimewatch.
Orwig is scheduled for sentencing in October and was ordered to undergo a Sexual Offenders Assessment to determine if he should be classified as a Sexually Violent Predator pursuant to Pennsylvania Law.
Orwig will be required to register as a sex offender with the PA Megan’s Law section for the remainder of his life, according to the release.
