DUI crash
JACKSONVILLE — Gregory Hannah, 36, of North Versailles, Pa., was arrested for driving under the influence on Interstate-80 in Marion Township after crashing a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado around 4:30 a.m. June 19, according to state police at Rockview.
Three vehicle crash
RENOVO — On June 17 around 11:30 p.m., state police at Lamar were called to an accident near 11903 Renovo Road in Chapman Township.
According to police, Ashley Zimmerman, 40, of Renovo, was operating a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee and traveling too fast while negotiating a left curve in the roadway. Zimmerman lost control and the vehicle left the roadway striking a utility pole.
Police said that Zimmerman’s vehicle, after striking the pole, proceeded into a parking lot where it struck a 2011 Chev. CK2500, forcing the vehicle into a third vehicle, a 2008 Chev. CK2500., before striking a billboard sign.
Police said Zimmerman was not injured in the crash but was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.
Over $2,000 stolen from
Penn Township
COBURN — State police at Rockview say they have no investigatory leads in the case of $2,849.99 charged to Penn Township’s Visa bank card.
Police described the June 30 incident as theft by deception.
Drug possession
CENTRE HALL — Kyle Harmon, 46, of Spring Mills, was found under the influence and in possession of illegal drugs on the 100 block of North Pennsylvania Avenue in Centre Hall Borough July 5, shortly after 11 p.m., according to state police at Rockview.
Scamming theft
HOWARD — PSP Rockview said they received a report of a scamming theft July 7 in which the victim, a 75-year-old Howard man, received a call from someone pretending to be from Xfinity. The caller claimed they had a special offer to reduce monthly payments.
The scammer requested two $280 Target gift cards, which the victim purchased and provided the codes for, according to state police at Rockview.
The numbers associated with the Xfinity impersonator are now inactive, police said.
The victim told police that they have been reimbursed by their bank and are not out any money.

Deer causes crash
BELLEFONTE — State police at Rockview were dispatched to I-80 W on June 29 at approximately 9 p.m. for the report of a vehicle having struck a deer.
State police said that Elijah Harper, 24, of Farrell, Pa., was traveling West on !-80 when a deer entered the roadway. Harper’s 2024 Ford Escape struck the deer before coming to rest. The vehicle sustained damages and had to be towed from the scene.
Police said Harper was not injured, but the deer was deceased and visible on the side of the road.
Motorcycles vandalized
HUBLERSBURG — A liquid or solvent was dumped on motorcycles parked outside at 141 Hublersburg Road in Walker Township sometime between July 5 and 6, according to state police at Rockview.
The liquid damaged the motorcycles’ gas tanks, causing an estimated $200 in damage, police said.
The victim is a 41-year-old Bellefonte man.

Credit card fraud
MILESBURG — On the morning of July 11, S&R Towing at 125 Sams Road, Bellefonte, reported that tires valued at $23,000 had been purchased using a fraudulent credit card, according to state police at Rockview.
A 55-year-old Arizona man contacted the store to report that his card was used to place the order, which he did not authorize.
The investigation remains open.
One vehicle crash
LAMAR — State police at Lamar responded to an accident on I-80 E near mile marker 172 on June 14, at 4:18 a.m.
Police said Munish Bhargav, 33, of New Hudson, Mich., was driving a 2025 Chrysler Pacifica when the left front tire deflated causing the vehicle to leave the roadway and side-swipe a guiderail.
Police said that Bhargav was not injured.
Fireworks used in vandalism
CENTRE HALL — On July 15 at approximately 4:45 a.m., an unknown suspect detonated an M-80-type firework inside a mailbox on the 4100 block of Penns Valley Road in Gregg Township, according to state police at Rockview.
Later that evening, around 10:45 p.m., a mortar-type firework was thrown or launched toward a house on the 200 block of North Pennsylvania Avenue in Centre Hall Borough, police said.
The mortar broke a first-floor window of the residence.

DUI, other charges
LOCK HAVEN — A 31-year-old North Bend woman was arrested for driving under the influence and related charges following a traffic stop in the city, Lock Haven City Police said.
At about 8:59 p.m., the woman was suspected to be driving under the influence, had an open container of alcoholic beverages within the vehicle and was operating the car without a valid inspection or registration, police said.
The woman was arrested for driving under the influence, open container, careless driving, driving on the right side of roadway, operation of vehicle without official certificate of inspection and registration and certificate title required, police said.
