Waterville man attacked; attacker on the run
LOCK HAVEN — A 46-year-old Waterville man was attacked from behind by ‘Billy clubs’ and a metal baseball bat along Island Road, Dunnstable Township on Sept. 1, state police at Lamar said.
The assault occurred at 7:51 p.m. when Dane Madron, 50, of Jersey Shore, and possibly another man nicknamed “Montana” attacked the victim with and beat him while on the ground, police said.
Both Madron and “Montana” fled the scene prior to police arrival, police said.
A warrant was obtained for Madron who is currently on the run, police said.

Property damaged in burglary
LAMAR — State police at Lamar are investigating a commercial burglary involving forced entry along Long Run Road, Lamar Township overnight between Sept. 7 and Sept. 8.
According to police, an unknown suspect broke into Architects Millshop, 225 Long Run Road, and damaged property before fleeing the scene.
