Criminal trespass
SNOW SHOE — An 82-year-old Snow Shoe woman reported to PSP an unknown male was inside her West Olive Street home on Sept. 11 at 7:42 p.m., according to state police at Rockview.’
A canvass of the area yielded negative results, police said.
Vehicle crash while
passing Amish buggy
BLANCHARD — While traveling on North Eagle Valley Road south of Marsh Creek Road, Liberty Township, Shawn Boone, 47, of Bellefonte, slowed down in his lane of travel for an Amish buggy that was also traveling southbound, which he could not pass safely due to traffic, according to state police at Rockview.
For unknown reasons, Allison L. Allen, 52, of Beech Creek, failed to see Boone slowing in his 2003 Ford F350 and collided with the rear end of his vehicle, police said.
After the initial impact, Allen’s 2017 Kia Sorento spun clockwise 180 degrees and came to a final rest on an embankment off the side of the road, police said.
Allen was transported to UPMC Williamsport for suspected serious injuries and the Kia she was operating suffered severe disabling damage. Boone’s Ford and trailer received moderate damage, police said.
Theft by deception
BELLEFONTE — On Aug. 16, state police at Rockview responded to Poplar Drive in Benner Township in regard to a scam, which victimized a 55-year-old Bellefonte man, according to state police at Rockview.
The victim received a fraudulent call from an unknown suspect who claimed to work for Comcast, police said.
The individual offered the victim a monthly promotional deal in return for Target gift cards, but the victim did not provide any personal information or payment, according to state police.
PFA violation
LOGANTON — State police at Lamar were called to East Valley Road in Greene Township on Sept. 18 for reports of a Protection from Abuse (PFA) violation.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
Two cited for harassment
McELHATTAN — Two Lock Haven residents were cited for harassment following an incident along Linnippi Trail, Wayne Township, on Sept. 18, state police at Lamar said.
At about 12:26 a.m. on Sept. 19, police were called to the 200 block of Linnippi trail for an altercation between a 38-year-old woman and 46 year-old-man.
Both individuals were cited for harassment for their involvement in the incident, police said.
