Theft from car
MILL HALL — State police at Lamar were called to the parking lot of Lowe’s in Mill Hall on Aug. 1 for the report of a theft.
Police said a caller reported observing a theft take place in the parking lot in which a female appeared to approach a parked vehicle, reach in the window and take something from inside the front of the car.
Police said the victim is a 23 year old man from Mill Hall.
Police added that an Airsoft Gun (Colt 1911 replica) valued at $150 and a Vuse Vape pod pack, valued at $50, were stolen from the 1982 red Pontiac Firebird.
Drug paraphernalia possession
LOCK HAVEN — On Aug. 5, state police at Lamar had contact with Brian Stabley, Jr., at 505 E. Park St., in Lock Haven.
Police said Stabley, 27, of Loganton, was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and charges were filed.
Theft investigation
FLEMINGTON — State police at Lamar are investigating a reported theft which took place between July 11 and Aug. 11 along Herr Street in Flemington.
According to police, the investigation involves a report of fraud.
Theft by deception
BEECH CREEK — State police at Lamar were called to a Fairview Street address in Beech Creek to investigate a theft of private credit card information.
Police said the victim is a 35 year old Beech Creek female.
Police are continuing their investigation.
Wire fraud
LOGANTON — An investigation into a wire fraud scam employed against a 63-year-old Loganton man in August determined the bad actor was a resident of Pakistan and that extradition would not be possible, according to state police at Lamar.
Shoplifting
BEECH CREEK — At 2:12 p.m. on Sept. 2, a woman took two items beyond the final point of sale without paying from Lykens, 272 Main St., Beech Creek Borough, according to state police at Lamar.
Physical menace
FLEMINGTON — A 17-year-old Lock Haven boy was charged with simple assault by physical menace after police were dispatched at 11:23 a.m. Sept. 2 to a disturbance in Flemington, according to state police at Lamar.
Police said the juvenile was harassing a 19-year-old Lock Haven woman with a hidden weapon.
Cruelty to animals investigation
LOGANTON — State police at Lamar are investigating a cruelty to animals report in Greene Township.
According to police, troopers were called to Wagmyr Lane on Sept. 10 for reports of a deceased cat found on the property.
DUI crash
RAUCHTOWN — The driver of a 2019 Freightliner was arrested for driving under the influence following a crash along Rauchtown Road in Crawford Township on Sept. 8, state police at Lamar said.
At about 11:51 p.m., Rakhimjon Khakimov, 38, of Brooklyn, N.Y., was traveling south on the roadway when he failed to negotiate a left hand curve and traveled off the roadway, striking a guiderail, police said.
Khakimov damaged about 100 yards of guardrail and three PPL utility poles, police said.
Following the crash, Khakimov fled the scene in the vehicle and was located at a gas station in Greene Township, police said.
When troopers made contact with Khakimov, it was determined the presence of alcoholic beverages was on the suspect, police said.
Damage on Khakimov’s vehicle was also consistent with the crash, police said.
Khakimov was arrested and placed in the Clinton County Correctional Facility and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, police said.
