Daniel Page, 41, of Beech Creek, suffered minor injuries when the utility body truck he was driving, shown at left, crashed into the back of a tractor-trailer truck in the travel (right) lane of Route 220 South at 1st Street in Woodward Township (Lycoming County) about 6:50 a.m. Monday, according to state police. Page was pinned in the wreckage for about 15 minutes. He was taken to UPMC Williamsport by Jersey Shore Area EMS. Woodward Township volunteer firefighters also responded to the crash. Police said the tractor-trailer truck driver, Dale Murphy, of Cleveland, Ohio, who was not hurt, was slowing down for a school bus that was stopping. Following the impact, both trucks traveled about 250-300 feet, landing in the berm. Southbound traffic was backed up to the Williamsport-township line until one lane was re-opened. Both lanes were re-opened once PennDOT cleaned up much of the diesel fuel that spilled on the highway.

Starting at $3.69/week.
