Vehicle rear ended
MILL HALL -- Police were called to a rear end collision at the intersection of Hogan Boulevard and King Arthur Drive on Aug. 9, according to state police at Lamar.
At 10:57 a.m., the driver of a 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt failed to notice the red light and a 2017 Chevrolet Impala stopped in the southbound turning lane, resulting in the collision, police said.
No injuries were reported and both cars were driven from the scene, police said.
Single motorcycle accident
ROTE -- Suspected injuries were reported following a single motorcycle crash that occurred on SR 477 near mile marker 180.9 of Interstate 80 on Aug. 3, police said.
At 6:05 p.m., Raelyn M. Schon, of Cogan Station, attempted a left turn when she drove off the side of the roadway and struck a guide rail, according to police.
Upon police arrival, Schon was stated to be pinned under the motorcycle, needing non-mechanical removal, police said.
Schon was transported to the hospital by Goodwill Hose Co. ambulance for suspected serious injury, police said.
Single car accident
MILL HALL -- Police responded to a single car crash on SR 120 in Grugan Township on Aug. 9, police said.
At 10:27 p.m., a vehicle driven by Tracy J. Metcalf, 55, of Austin, made contact with a tree across the roadway, police said.
No injuries were reported but the car did sustain disabling damage to the undercarriage, according to police.
Hit and run
AVIS -- Police responded to a hit and run on Aug. 13 in Avis, according to state police of Montoursville.
At 7:24 a.m., a 2009 Suzuki, driven by Bowie O. Miller, 37, of Avis, reportedly struck a 2020 Nissan, driven by Andrew A. Steenburg, 42, of Jersey Shore, police said.
Both vehicles pulled off the road before Miller fled from the scene, police said.
No injuries were reported by Lycoming Regional Police.
Miller was cited for following too closely and many other unnamed violations, police said.
Two-vehicle crash
LAMAR -- No injuries were reported after a 2020 Freightliner merged into the left lane and struck a 2021 Subaru, according to state police at Lamar.
At 4:20 p.m., on Aug. 8, the Freightliner allegedly merged lanes and struck the front end of the passenger side of the Subaru, police said.
Minor damage was sustained by the Subaru and both vehicles were able to be driven from the scene, police said.
One-vehicle crash
LOGANTON -- Police responded to a single vehicle crash along Interstate 80, at mile marker 191, police said.
At 8:27 a.m., a 2021 Honda, driven by Allison C. Blais, 22, of Tallahassee, was traveling west on the interstate when she exited the roadway to the south and struck a guide rail, police said.
The Honda rotated counter-clockwise, crossing both lanes of travel, police said.
No injuries were reported and the car was towed from the scene by Bressler's Garage, according to state police at Lamar.
Two-vehicle crash
MILL HALL -- No injuries were reported after a two car crash near Hogan Boulevard and King Arthur Drive on Aug. 24, according to state police at Lamar.
At 2:24 p.m., a 2015 Nissan, driven by Charles R. Walters, 87, of Mill Hall, made a left turn into a parking lot when he was struck by a 2015 Ford, driven by Carissa J. Peter, 27, also of Mill Hall, police said.
The Ford sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene but no injuries were reported by either driver, police said.
Vehicle rear ended
LAMAR -- Police reported one suspected minor injury following a two car accident that occurred on Nittany Valley Drive, Lamar Township, according to police.
A 2018 Ford, driven by Sydney Millheim, 22, of Hughesville, was rear ended while stationary, attempting to turn left onto Kyle Lane, by a 2012 Chevrolet, driven by Janice Robinson, 65, of Mill Hall, police said.
Millheim sustained a minor injury and was transported to UPMC Lock Haven by Lamar Township VFC #11, police said.
Millheim's car sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene by Tressler's Towing, police said.
