Multiple retail thefts pending
MILL HALL -- Charges of retail theft are pending for two incidents that occurred at Walmart along Hogan Boulevard, Bald Eagle Township, on Sept. 11, state police at Lamar said.
The first incident was reported at 8:42 a.m., when a 37-year-old Lock Haven woman was accused of trying to steal $266.36 in general merchandise, police said.
The second incident occurred later in the day when a 37-year-old was accused of trying to steal $1,667.49 worth of merchandise, police said.
PFA violation
FLEMINGTON -- Charges of harassment were filed against a 17-year-old Lock Haven male following a potential Protection from Abuse (PFA) violation, state police at Lamar said.
The incident occurred at about 1:09 p.m. on Sept. 12 in the area of Sturdevant Street, Flemington Borough, police said.
The teen was taken into custody regarding the violation and was later cited for the incident, police said.
Vehicle strikes deer
AVIS -- No injuries were reported in a one vehicle accident involving a deer along state Route 220 North near mile marker 119 in Pine Creek Township on Sept. 14, state police at Lamar said.
At 9:56 a.m., Adam C. Goss, 44, of Binghamton, N.Y., was traveling in the right lane with his passenger, Jeffrey J. Thurber, 47, also of Binghamton, N.Y., when a deer entered the roadway and struck his 2025 Chevrolet Malibu, police said.
Following the incident, Goss pulled onto the southern shoulder of the roadway and made arrangements of his own to remove the vehicle, police said.
Business burglarized
LAMAR -- A business along Long Run Road in Lamar Township was burglarized between Aug. 31 at 7:09 p.m. and Sept. 1 at 3:23 p.m., state police at Lamar said.
According to police, a H2300 Gray Sentry Safe, valued at $50; a Black Sentry Safe, valued at $850; wood cabinets and a door at Architects Millshop, 225 Long Run Road, were damaged by an unknown suspect before they fled the scene, police said.

Drug possession
LAMAR -- State police at Lamar are investigating an incident involving drug possession following a traffic stop along Interstate 80 on Aug. 11.
According to police, a traffic stop involving a 2008 Infiniti G35 was conducted at 3:38 p.m. for Title 75 violations.
During the stop, controlled substances were seized from the vehicle, police said.
No further information was available on the incident.
No injuries in two-vehicle crash
MILL HALL -- No injuries were reported in a two vehicle crash at an intersection on Hogan Boulevard near Ruby Tuesday's on Sept. 16, state police at Lamar said.
At 4:16 p.m., a 2008 Chevrolet, driven by Shirley A. MacDonald, 70, of Flemington, failed to yield to a solid red light while traveling southbound leaving Walmart, police said.
After proceeding through the intersection, MacDonald's vehicle was struck by a 2018 Nissan Frontier, driven by Samuel B. Brungard, 72, of Flemington, who was traveling through a solid yellow light in the intersection, police said.
Both vehicles came to rest facing south on the roadway, police said.
No injuries were reported and MacDonald was cited for obedience to traffic control devices, police said.
Vehicle rear ended
MILL HALL -- A teen driver was cited for following too closely after a two vehicle crash along Eagle Valley Road in Mill Hall on Sept. 11, state police at Lamar said.
At 3:54 p.m., Debra L. Anderson, 69, of Beech Creek, was stopped in the roadway waiting to make a left turn into the Calico Creek pet store and was struck from behind by a 2013 Honda Civic, driven by a 17-year-old Howard female, police said.
According to police, the teen was distracted prior to the crash.
Anderson, who was wearing her seatbelt at the time, suffered suspected minor injuries but refused transport, police said.
The 17-year-old's vehicle was towed from the scene by Martin Motor's per her request, police said.
