Harassment with
physical contact
RENOVO -- State police at Lamar responded to a domestic altercation on Oct. 19 near St. Clair Avenue, where two adults, a 40-year-old female and a 58-year-old male, both of Renovo, were reportedly throwing items and hitting each other, according to police.
Both individuals were cited with harassment through District Judge Frank Mills's office, police said.
Single vehicle
accident with deer
HYNER -- Police responded to a single vehicle accident on Oct. 19, when a 2025 Ford Explorer, driven by Dylan Krivosky, 30, of Mill Hall, struck a deer that entered the roadway along the Renovo Road, east of Strawberry Lane, according to state police at Lamar.
Krivosky was wearing his seatbelt at the time and did not sustain any injuries, police said.
The Explorer sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene, police said.
Dog law violations
MILL HALL -- A 52-year-old man from Mill Hall was charged with two counts of Dog Law on Oct. 20 for not controlling his dogs, allowing them to cause damage to a neighbor's property, according to state police at Lamar.
DUI
RENOVO -- Mark Sinkiewicz, 66, of Wind Gap, Pa., was charged with two counts of DUI, an expired inspection and parking in a roadway causing a hazard, according to the Renovo Police Department.
On Oct. 21, Sinkiewicz allegedly drove from the Allentown area to Renovo before running out of gas on Huron Avenue, after failing to fill up at one of the many gas stations he passed, police said.
Sinkiewicz did not know where he was, how he got there or why he was there, police said.
After finding no medical issues present, Sinkiewicz was found to be intoxicated and was arrested for DUI, police said.
Charges have been filed against Sinkiewicz through District Judge Frank Mills's office, police said.
Aggravated assault
FARWELL -- A 16-year-old male was charged with felony aggravated assault and more following an incident that occurred on Oct. 27 at Bucktail Area High School, according to the Renovo Police Department.
The juvenile assaulted two staff members, made threats and caused a disturbance inside the school, police said.
Charges against the juvenile have been filed through Clinton County Juvenile Court, police said.
Cruelty to animals
DUNNSTOWN -- Woodward Township Police Department responded to an incident at 217 Woodward Avenue, on Nov. 3 where a 2-year-old golden retriever was shot with a pellet gun, police said.
The pellet was lodged in the chest cavity next to the lung, police said.
The investigation is ongoing, according to police.
