MILESBURG -- A 64-year-old man was killed in a single-vehicle crash Thursday morning on Interstate 80 in Boggs Township after he was ejected from his vehicle, according to the Centre County Coroner's Office.
Centre County 911 received a report at approximately 7:05 a.m. on Jan. 29 of a pickup truck in the median of the highway, with one male occupant ejected from the vehicle, the coroner said.
State police at Rockview responded and determined the driver, identified as Douglas W. Huling, was deceased upon arrival. The Centre County Coroner's Office was subsequently requested to respond to the scene.
Huling was transported to Mount Nittany Medical Center, where an autopsy is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 31, 2026.
The crash remains under investigation by state police and the coroner's office.
