Harassment between teens

AVIS — A 15-year-old Avis male was cited for harassment following an incident reported on Dec. 5, state police at Lamar said.

According to police, the victim, a Jersey Shore teenager, had concerning messages on her phone.

Through an investigation it was determined the 15-year-old threatened the other teen, police said.

Charges were filed through District Judge Keith Kibbler’s office.

Terroristic threats at school

MILL HALL — A 15-year-old Lock Haven male faces multiple charges following an incident at Central Mountain High School, along Keystone Central Drive in Bald Eagle Township, on Dec. 4, state police at Lamar said.

Police were called to the school at 3 p.m. for an investigation that concluded the student made comments towards a 60-year-old man that rose to the level of terroristic threats.

The teen was charged with terroristic threats and disorderly conduct through Clinton County Juvenile Probation, police said.

Back log from one crash

leads to another

LAMAR — A two vehicle crash occurred within the back log of another accident along Interstate 80 West near mile marker 181 in Lamar Township on Dec. 2, state police at Lamar said.

According to police, at 8:34 a.m., a 1998 Peterbilt 379 and its trailer, driven by Matthew J. Samsel, 39, of Morrisdale, was coming to a stop due to traffic from another crash when a 2014 Volvo XC70, driven by Ann L. Keefner, 51, of Springfield, Ill., failed to come to a stop and struck the trailer, police said.

Keefner crossed over the left lane and exited south of the roadway into a grass embankment, police said.

Samsel pulled his vehicle onto the right shoulder of the roadway, police said.

Samsel’s trailer sustained minor damage and it, along with the vehicle, were driven from the scene, police said.

Keefner’s vehicle suffered disabling damage along the passenger side and was towed from the scene by Tressler’s Garage, police said.

No injuries were reported as a result of the accident, police said.

Drug possession

LOCK HAVEN — A driver and passenger of a 2009 Honda Civic could be cited for drug possession from an incident on Nov. 30 along Grove Street in Lock Haven, state police at Lamar said.

At 8:22 p.m., the vehicle was stopped due to traffic violations when, through an investigation, it was discovered both occupants were in possession of a controlled substance, police said.

The investigation is on-going.
