Harassment
CENTRE HALL — On Jan. 11 at about 12:30 p.m., state police were dispatched to The Meadows in Centre Hall for a reported harassment incident, according to state police at Rockview.
Police determined that the individuals involved, who were not identified, would be charged with harassment involving physical contact.
Harassment
NITTANY — A 54-year-old Howard man was charged with harassment of a 30-year-old Shippensville man on the afternoon of Jan. 17 after police responded to a call on Chestnut Street in Walker Township, according to state police at Rockview.
DUI
LOGANTON — Criminal charges are pending against a 42-year-old Loganton man following a traffic stop on Dec. 27 at approximately 6:50 p.m., according to state police at Lamar.
PSP Lamar initiated a traffic stop on North Mill Street, Loganton, for a stop sign violation where it was determined the operator was under the influence of alcohol, police said.
Road conditions cause accident
LOGANTON — A crash occurred as Wayne A. Lamey, 66, of Loganton, lost control of a 2020 Chevrolet Express he was driving, due to road conditions on Dec. 27 at approximately 2:04 a.m., according to state police at Lamar.
Lamey was traveling in the right lane when he lost control of the vehicle and traveled across the left lane, eventually striking a utility pole, police said.
No injuries were reported in the accident, police said.
Commercial vehicle accident
LOCK HAVEN — A 2024 Freightliner Cascadia, driven by Robert Tintoro, 51, of Middleburg, Fla.,was involved in a single vehicle accident on US-220 near mile marker 110.6 on Dec. 26, according to state police at Lamar.
Tintoro was traveling too quickly for the winter conditions and lost traction with the road surface due to the icy road surface, police said.
After losing control, Tintoro went through the left lane of US-220N and struck the middle double guide rails, police said.
The vehicle continued through the guide rails, overturned onto its driver’s side and came to a rest in both travel lanes of US-220S, police said.
The operator was wearing his seatbelt and sustained only minor injuries, police said.
Police were assisted on scene by PennDOT, Bressler’s Towing, Eagle Towing (HAZMAT), Lock Haven EMS, Lock Haven Vol. Fire Co. and Castanea Vol. Fire Co.
