One-vehicle accident
LOGANTON — The driver of a 2013 Nissan Rogue was not injured following a one-vehicle crash along East Valley Road in Greene Township on Jan. 19, state police at Lamar said.
At 8:47 p.m., Leopold Accime, 49, of North Baldwin, N.Y., was traveling east on the roadway when, due to driving too fast for conditions, lost control of his vehicle and left the north side of the roadway, striking a utility pole and concrete mailbox base, police said.
The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene by Tressler’s, police said.
No injuries in crash
LOGANTON — No injuries were reported in a one-vehicle crash along Narrows Road, Logan Township, on Jan. 19, state police at Lamar said.
At 1:14 p.m., Ellyanna M. Zeigler, 18, of Mill Hall, and her passenger, Gage R. Lucas, 20, of Loganton, was traveling west on the roadway in a 2015 Honda Accord when, due to a combination of partial snow/ice on the road and Zeigler’s speed, she lost control of the vehicle, police said.
After losing control, the vehicle struck a utility pole, police said.
The vehicle was removed from the scene by Tressler’s Towing.
Harassment investigation
RAUCHTOWN — State police at Lamar are investigating an alleged incident of harassment that occurred on Jan. 13 along Rauchtown Road, Crawford Township.
The investigation stems from a Child Line tip, according to police.
Dog bites child
MILL HALL — State police at Lamar are investigating a report of a dog bite involving a 2-year-old girl.
According to police, the alleged incident occurred on Jan. 18 at about 11:39 a.m. in Bald Eagle Township.
Vehicle strikes deer
MILL HALL — While attempting to pass another vehicle along Renovo Road in Bald Eagle Township, a 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt struck a deer, state police at Lamar said.
According to police, at 6:02 a.m., Carl D. Burrows, 42, of North Bend, was making a pass in the 1800 block of the roadway when the deer ran into his vehicle.
The vehicle sustained disabling damage as result of the crash, but Burrows was wearing his seatbelt and was not injured, police said.
