The driver of a Kia, seen at right, Daniel Osborne, 48, of Lock Haven, and the driver of a Mitsubishi Endeavor, seen above, Mark Caruso, 73, of Lock Haven, were treated at UPMC Williamsport for injuries they suffered when their vehicles collided in the southbound lanes of Route 220 at First Street in Woodward Township, Lycoming County, about 3:15 p.m. Friday, according to state police. Southbound traffic out of Williamsport was backed up for more than a mile. An off-duty paramedic from Jersey Shore Area EMS witnessed the crash and alerted 911 using his portable radio.
