Injuries reported in domestic incident

RENOVO — A 44-year-old Renovo man was taken into custody after state police at Lamar were called to a domestic incident along 5th Street in Renovo Borough on Feb. 11.

According to police, troopers were dispatched to a home at 10:12 p.m. for reports of a domestic with injuries. While on the scene, troopers observed injury to the 37-year-old victim’s eye and obtained statements from her and Heath Braunns, police said.

Following the investigation, Braunns was taken into custody for assault with bodily injury-no weapon and transported to the Clinton County Correctional Facility, police said.

Braunns was also cited for simple assault and harassment as a result of the incident, police said.

Caretaker accused of theft

MILL HALL — A 51-year-old Mill Hall woman is accused of stealing a “significant amount” of money from an elderly victim, state police at Lamar said.

According to police, troopers were called to Whiterock Lane in Bald Eagle Township for reports of a theft involving a 77-year-old Baltimore, Md., woman between Jan. 1 and Jan. 15.

It was discovered the Mill Hall woman, who is a caretaker and family member of the victim, stole money from her by various means, police said.

A specific dollar amount was not listed in the report.

An investigation is on-going, police said.

Harassment

RAUCHTOWN — A 24-year-old Williamsport man is accused of harassment with physical contact following an incident along Rauchtown Road in Crawford Township, state police at Lamar said.

Police were called to a home on Feb. 2 at 12:55 p.m. for reports of a domestic incident. Through an investigation it was determined there was an argument between the man and a 23-year-old Jersey Shore woman which turned physical, police said.

Drug possession at high school

MILL HALL — State police at Lamar are investigating an alleged incident of drug possession involving a 17-year-old Blanchard female.

The incident occurred along 64 Keystone Central Drive on Feb. 3 at 11:39 a.m., police said.

$10,000 theft

RAUCHTOWN — A family member is accused of stealing $10,000 from a woman’s bank account over a 10 month period, state police at Lamar said.

According to police, a 63-year-old Jersey Shore woman reported a family member accessed her bank accounts, took the money between March 1, 2025, and Jan. 28, 2026, without her consent, police said.

An investigation is currently underway utilizing banking documents, police said.

DUI crash

MILL HALL — A 24-year-old Williamsport man was taken into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence following a crash along Nittany Valley Drive in Porter Township on Jan. 18, state police at Lamar said.

At 3:32 a.m., police were dispatched to the area where a 2024 black Hyundai Tucson was found on its roof in the driveway of 6795 Nittany Valley Drive, police said.

Both the driver and the passenger, a 25-year-old Mill Hall man, were not injured, police said.

DUI charges are pending the results of a chemical blood draw, police said.

Lawn statue stolen

MILL HALL — State police at Lamar are asking for information about a stolen item along Girard Street in Mill Hall on Jan. 12.

According to police, a stone lawn statue, valued at $5, was taken in the 600 block of the street.

DUI alleged

CASTANEA — The driver of a 2008 Chevrolet Colorado was taken into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence following a traffic stop on Jan. 31, state police at Lamar said.

At 11:15 p.m., troopers conducted a traffic stop along state Route 220 North near mile marker 112, Castanea Township, police said.

During the stop, the driver, a 37-year-old Jersey Shore man, displayed indicators of being under the influence of an alcohol beverage, police said.

The driver was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI, with charges to be filed through District Judge Keith Kibbler’s office.

Theft investigation

LOGANTON — State police at Lamar are investigating an incident of online theft that was reported on Jan. 31.

According to police, a 36-year-old Loganton woman reported a $125 Apple Pay charge was completed through her account which was not authorized.

Two taken to county jail

for assault

AVIS — A 46-year-old man and 42-year-old woman, both of Jersey Shore, were locked up following an incident along Municipal Drive, Avis Borough on Feb. 5, state police at Lamar said.

According to police, troopers were called to a home at about 12:38 a.m. for reports of a physical altercation between a male and female.

On the scene, troopers learned both parties had struck one another, causing injury to the other’s eye, police said.

The man and woman were both arrested and transported to the Clinton County Correctional Facility for simple assault and harassment, police said.

Vehicle scratched

BEECH CREEK — State police at Lamar are looking for information regarding vehicle damage which happened along Beverly Drive, Beech Creek Borough on Feb. 5.

According to police, it was reported a 2012 Chevrolet Malibu was scratched at 48 Beverly Drive, police said.
