Driver injured in crash

PLEASANT GAP — Bakhodir Ismoiljonvov, 20, of Pittsburgh, was charged with failing to maintain lane position after allegedly falling asleep and crashing his 2015 Toyota Prius on Interstate 80 in Spring Township April 4 at about 5 p.m., according to state police at Rockview.

Ismoiljonvov was traveling westbound when his vehicle left the north side of the highway, went through a designated emergency pull-off area and struck an embankment, police said.

Ismoiljonvov, who allegedly told police he fell asleep at the wheel, was not wearing a seatbelt and sustained suspected minor injuries in the crash, police said.

Two minors charged

in altercation

CENTRE HALL — Two teenage girls at The Meadows Psychiatric Center in Centre Hall were charged with harassment after a physical altercation April 3 in Potter Township, according to state police at Rockview.

One girl, 15, is from Johnstown, and the other, 14, is from Shamokin, police said.

Truck fire

HUBLERSBURG — Timothy J. Card, 63, of Loganton, was traveling along Nittany Valley Road near the intersection of Coder Lane when the 2006 Peterbilt 379 he was operating caught fire due to a suspected failure in the right wheel, according to state police at Rockview.

In the April 10 incident, which occurred around 6:11 a.m., Card steered the truck off the right side of the road, where it was later towed, police said.

No injuries were reported and no charges were filed.

Traffic sign struck in crash

MILLHEIM — Seth J. Witherite, 39, of Bellefonte, was charged with failing to maintain lane position after losing control of his 2014 Nissan Pathfinder on East Main Street in Millheim Borough and striking a traffic sign April 12 just before 7 a.m., according to state police at Rockview.

Witherite’s vehicle was towed from the scene, but he was uninjured.

Vehicle overturns

JACKSONVILLE — Serhii Kovtiuk, 32, of Mount Prospect, Ill., was charged with speeding and careless driving after overturning a 2025 Volvo VNL on the ramp of the Jacksonville exit of Interstate 80 westbound, according to state police at Rockview.

No injuries were reported in the April 10 crash at about 2:27 p.m., but the vehicle was towed.

Found ring

LAMAR — On April 11, state police at Rockview investigated a found ring in the parking lot of Ingram’s Market at 5472 Nittany Valley Drive in Porter Township, near the gas pumps, police said.

Deer hit

NITTANY — At about 6 a.m. April 11, Jennifer K. Schrack, 48, of Avis, struck a deer crossing Nittany Valley Drive near Snydertown Road, according to state police at Rockview.

The vehicle, which was carrying two women from Jersey Shore, was towed from the scene. No injuries were reported, police said.

Drug possession

ZION — A 33-year-old Johnstown woman had her vehicle seized on suspicion it contained controlled substances following a traffic stop March 25 at about 9:37 p.m. on East College Avenue in Walker Township, according to state police at Rockview.

The woman was charged under Act 64, police said.

Harassment

SPRING MILLS — A 56-year-old Spring Mills man was charged with harassment for physical contact against a 53-year-old woman following an investigation into an April 9 incident on Penns Valley Road in Gregg Township at about 9:27 p.m., according to state police at Rockview.

Over $2,000 stolen on Cash App

SPRING MILLS — State police investigated a theft April 9 at about 4 p.m. in which an unknown actor stole $2,139 from a 28-year-old Spring Mills woman’s Cash App account, according to state police at Rockview.

The investigation is ongoing, police said.

Hit and run

RAUCHTOWN — A crash occurred on Feb. 16 at approximately 5:56 a.m. as a Honda Pilot and a 2005 Subaru Forester, driven by Ronald G. Harton, III, 43, of Camp Hill, were traveling on SR 880, according to state police at Lamar.

Harton was traveling southbound and slowed down to 40 mph due to icy road conditions when the driver of the Honda struck the rear of the vehicle, police said.

Harton then left the roadway and struck an embankment with the rear of the vehicle before crossing back across the roadway and striking a guiderail, police said.

It was reported that the driver of the Honda came to a stop momentarily before continuing on, police said.

Harton attempted to follow the Honda but was unable to due to the road conditions, according to police.

No injuries were reported, police said.
