Stolen energy drinks
WINGATE — Tristan Adams, 18, of Port Matilda, and a 17-year-old, also of Port Matilda, were charged with shoplifting energy drinks from Sheetz on S. Eagle Valley Road over a three-day period between March 9 and 11, according to state police at Rockview.
Single-vehicle
accident
MILESBURG — While driving on Pleasantview Boulevard near Harmony Forge Road, Donald L. Houck, 77, of Bellefonte, crossed into the southbound lane, left the roadway and struck an embankment, according to state police at Rockview.
Houck was charged with driving on the right side of the roadway following the March 9 crash, which occurred shortly before 11 a.m. He was transported by EMS to a local hospital with suspected minor injuries, police said.
Driver strikes deer
HOWARD — Essense E. Donley, 19, of Mill Hall, was charged for not wearing a seatbelt after striking a deer in the right-hand lane of N. Eagle Valley Road on March 12 at about 7:30 p.m., according to state police at Rockview.
Donley was transported to UPMC Lock Haven for suspected minor injuries from the crash, police said.
Children harassed
SNOW SHOE — Two Snow Shoe boys, ages 8 and 9, were victims of harassment by physical contact on Feb. 26, according to state police at Rockview.
The incident occurred around 5:44 p.m. along N. Moshannon Avenue and involved a known suspect in Snow Shoe Borough. The investigation is ongoing, police said.
DUI charges filed after vehicle strikes building
BELLEFONTE — Robert S. Lucas, 55, of Julian, was charged with driving under the influence on the evening of March 16 after allegedly driving in reverse on High Tech Road near the State College Regional Airport and striking a building, according to state police at Rockview.
Lucas’s 2019 Honda CR-V collided with 2178 High Tech Road, causing significant damage, police said. The vehicle remained operable, and he drove away from the scene, police said.
Lucas was later located by the Centre County Sheriff’s Office and stopped along the 2700 block of Purdue Mountain Road. During the stop, police determined he was under the influence of alcohol and had suspected minor injuries, state police said.
Slashed tires
NITTANY — A 61-year-old Howard man reported that his vehicle tires were slashed while he was hunting near 600 Hoy Road in Walker Township, according to state police at Rockview.
The criminal mischief allegedly occurred on March 7 between 2 and 6:30 p.m.
Anyone with information is asked to contact state police.
Cruelty to animals
MILL HALL — State police at Lamar were notified on Feb. 14 of alleged animal cruelty that was occurring near King Arthur Drive in Bald Eagle Township.
The investigation showed the claims were unfounded and no further action took place, according to police.
