Drug possession

MILL HALL — On May 5, at approximately 5:45 p.m., state police at Lamar were dispatched to 288 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall, for a report of an intoxicated male on the premises.

Through investigation, it was determined Steven Orbitz, 61, of Altoona, was in possession of a controlled substance, police said.

Charges were filed through MDJ 25-3-02.

DUI

LAMAR — On April 9, state police at Lamar initiated a traffic stop on a 2004 Honda Accord, driven by a 44-year-old female, of Akron, Ohio, according to police.

Upon further investigation, the driver of the vehicle was determined to be under the influence of a controlled substance, police said.

The driver was taken into custody pending chemical testing, police said.

U-turn leads to accident

SALONA — A crash occurred on US 220 N, at its intersection with the Salona exit, when Denisha M Krout, 23, of Williamsport, driving a 2021 Nissan Rogue, missed the Salona exit and attempted to make a u-turn, according to state police at Lamar.

Krout then entered the travel lane of a 2013 Chrysler 200 before colliding with the vehicle, police said. After impact, both vehicles came to a rest off the northbound Salona exit with disabling damage to both.

No injuries were reported.

Disorderly conduct

LOCKPORT — On May 13, at approximately 9:12 a.m., state police at Lamar were dispatched to Woodward Elementary for a report of a female screaming in the lobby, police said.

Through investigation, it was determined that the arrestee, Traci Salvo, 40, of Williamsport, continually screamed at staff in the lobby and pounded on the lobby window, prompting a school lockdown procedure, police said.

Salvo was taken into custody and charges were filed through MDJ 25-3-01, police said.

Two vehicle crash

LOCK HAVEN — On May 25, at approximately 9:48 a.m., a crash occurred on Coudersport Pike near Oak Brook Lane as a 2007 Honda Accord, driven by a 17-year-old Lock Haven male, backed the vehicle out unsafely, according to Woodward Township Police.

The Honda struck a 2022 Ford Expedition, driven by Joshua Bausch, 34, of Levittown, driving southbound on Coudersport Pike, police said.

Both vehicles sustained minor to moderate damage but were driven from the scene, police said.
