Driver flees crash
LOCK HAVEN — The driver of a 2015 Ford F-150XLT fled the scene following a crash along Island Road, Dunnstable Township, state police at Lamar said.
On May 24, Erika B. Kennedy, 21, of Jersey Shore, was traveling near the intersection with Quiet Lane when she left the south side of the roadway, traveled down a small embankment and struck a tree, causing disabling damages, police said.
Kennedy fled the scene but was later identified, police said. She faces charges related to driving on roadways laned for traffic, police said.
Man charged
with assault
LOGANTON — Ethan Barner, 35, of Loganton, was arrested and charged in relation to assault following an incident along North Mill Street in Loganton on May 26, state police at Lamar said.
At about 12:28 a.m., officers were called to the 100 block of the roadway for a domestic in progress, police said.
On scene, they encountered Barner highly intoxicated in the roadway, police said.
During the investigation, officers learned Barner had punched, bit and grabbed the 33-year-old victim by the throat, police said.
Barner was taken into custody on charges of simple assault, harassment and public intoxication and was housed at the Clinton County Correctional Facility waiting arraignment, police said.
Rape investigation
RENOVO — State police at Lamar are currently conducting an investigation into the possible rape of three victims ages 10-years-old and under.
According to police, a Childline referral was provided for the alleged sexual assault of a 5-year-old girl, an 8-year-old girl and a 10-year-old girl, all of Williamsport, that allegedly occurred between Dec. 1, 2018, and Aug. 31, 2020, in Renovo Borough.
DUI crash
BEECH CREEK — A 21-year-old Beech Creek man may face driving under the influence charges following a crash along Monument Orviston Road, Beech Creek Township, on May 9, state police at Lamar said.
At 4:52 a.m., officers were dispatched for a crash involving a 2016 Volkswagen Jetta whose driver showed indicators of impairment, police said.
The driver was taken into custody and transported to UPMC Lock Haven for a blood draw, police said.
Charges are pending the results of a chemical blood test, police said.
Flower bed damaged
FLEMINGTON — On May 21, at approximately 6:15 p.m., state police at Lamar responded to an address along Woods Avenue to investigate criminal mischief in which a flower bed was intentionally run over with a lawn mower, according to police.
The investigation is underway.
