No injuries in one-vehicle crash
MILL HALL -- A teen driver of a 2019 Subaru Outback was not injured following a one-vehicle crash along state Route 220 on June 12, state police at Lamar said.
At about 7:58 a.m., the 17-year-old female, of Mill Hall, was traveling north near mile marker 108, in Bald Eagle Township, when it crossed into the left lane, striking a guide rail and crossing back into the right lane, striking an embankment, police said.
The crash caused disabling damage to the vehicle and it was removed by Showcase Towing, police said.
The driver was cited in relation to driving on roadways laned for traffic, police said.
Tire causes one-vehicle crash
LOGANTON -- The driver of a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado and his passengers were not injured in a one-vehicle crash along Interstate 80 in Greene Township on June 13, state police at Lamar said.
At 4:39 p.m., Eric J. Matthews, Jr., 33, of Selinsgrove, and his passengers, Tyler A. Ellisa, 32, of Canadensis, Pa., and Mollie J. Matthews, 33, of Selinsgrove, were traveling east in the right lane when the front driver's side tire of the vehicle blew, police said.
The tire malfunction caused the vehicle to cross the left lane and strike an embankment, causing minimal damage, police said.
The vehicle was towed from the scene by Bressler's Garage and Matthews was cited for operating a vehicle without a valid inspection, police said.
MH woman charged
with retail theft
MILL HALL -- Lorie Farrell, 54, of Mill Hall, was cited for retail theft after stealing nearly $200 in items from the Walmart Supercenter along Hogan Boulevard, Bald Eagle Township, state police at Lamar said.
According to police, officers were called to the store at 1:45 p.m. on June 11 for the report of a theft.
Through an investigation it was determined Farrell stole 14 items, valued at $194.49, by walking a cart full of unbagged items past the point of sale, police said.
Vehicle rear ended
LAMAR -- Minor injuries were reported in a two-vehicle crash along state Route 64, Lamar Township, on June 13, state police at Lamar said.
At 10:26 a.m., Sheryl K. Miller, 69, of Mill Hall, was stopped in her 2023 Ford Bronco while waiting for another vehicle to turn into a parking lot when her vehicle was rear ended by a 2023 Volvo truck, driven by Balvir Singh, 40, of Holt, Mich., police said.
The crash caused disabling damage to Miller's vehicle, who was transported to UPMC Lock Haven by Goodwill Hose EMS for suspected minor injuries, police said.
Singh was not injured and was cited for following too closely as a result of the crash, police said.
Disorderly conduct
SOUTH RENOVO -- State police at Lamar cited Matthew Milner, 41, of Renovo, with disorderly conduct following an incident on June 15 in South Renovo Borough.
According to police, at about 8:13 p.m., Milner allegedly used obscene language and gestures in public near the intersection of Pennsylvania Avenue and Third Street that caused public inconvenience, annoyance or alarm, police said.
Charges were filed through District Judge Frank Mills's office.
