Driving under the influence
alleged
RENOVO -- A 35-year-old Renovo woman may face driving under the influence related charges following a traffic stop along Tenth Street in Renovo Borough on July 2, state police at Lamar said.
According to police, the stop took place at 9:20 p.m. and, during the stop, it was determined the driver, name not listed, was under the influence of a drug.
The driver was taken into custody and transported to UPMC Lock Haven for a legal blood draw, police said.
This investigation is ongoing.
Intoxicated man breaks
door of home
LAMAR -- A 56-year-old Lamar man faces multiple charges following an incident along Locust Street in Porter Township on July 17, state police at Lamar said.
According to police, at 8:34 p.m., the man, name not listed, while intoxicated, walked onto a porch and broke the door of a residence while trying to get in.
Charges for criminal mischief, disorderly conduct, trespassing and public drunkenness were filed through District Judge Heidi Wright's office.
Rape investigation
RENOVO -- State police at Lamar are investigating a possible rape in Renovo Borough.
According to police, officers responded to UPMC Lock Haven on July 3 for reports of a sexual assault that allegedly occurred between July 1 and July 3.
Deer in roadway leads
to crash
DUNNSTABLE -- The driver of a 2017 Ford Escape was not injured following a crash involving a deer along Little Plum Run Road on July 19, state police at Lamar said.
At 10:24 p.m., Shanette L. Livermore, 47, of Jersey Shore, was traveling south on the roadway, approaching Park Avenue, when a deer ran in front of her vehicle, police said.
Livermore swerved to avoid the deer, striking a guide rail on the west side of the road, causing minor damage to the guide rail, police said.
Livermore's vehicle sustained a flat tire on the passenger side and damage to its 2 and 3 o'clock positions, police said.
Livermore was issued a written warning regarding duty to give information and render aid, police said.
