Fire in smoker out prior to emergency responders arrival in Renovo

Renovo area fire departments including Renovo Fire Department Station #29, pictured above, responded to a structure fire on 4th Street and Ontario Avenue Saturday morning. The resident had been using a smoker on the porch and the smoker caught fire. According to reports, the resident was able to contain the fire to the smoker. Crews responded and confirmed the fire was out as they arrived and Renovo crews helped to ventilate the home.
