LOCK HAVEN -- A Jersey Shore man was arrested for selling over $100 in methamphetamine to a confidential informant.
According to a release from District Attorney Dave Strouse's office via Crimewatch, Steven Ray Barner, Jr., 35, was arrested by Pennsylvania State Police for selling $150 worth of the drug to the informant.
Barner was charged with one count of manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance, a felony; and one count of criminal use of a communication facility, a third degree felony, the release said.
Barner was jailed in the Clinton County Correctional Facility in lieu of $35,000 monetary bail. He waived his preliminary hearing on Monday, Aug. 17, at the Clinton County Courthouse and has a formal arraignment scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 29, at 8:30 a.m.
The release added that Barner faces charges of possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor; and possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor, following a separate arrest by state police during a traffic stop in March 2026.
