Vehicle pursuit ends in arrest
LOGANTON -- Arye Worwell, 36, of Richmond Heights, Ohio, was arrested and faces multiple charges after leading police on a high speed chase along Interstate 80 East on Sept. 13, state police at Lamar said.
According to police, at 11:08 a.m., officers attempted to make a traffic stop regarding a stolen vehicle, a 2026 Kia Sportage.
The driver, Worwell, stopped for a brief moment but ignored verbal commands and fled in the vehicle, police said.
This led to a police pursuit that lasted roughly 59 miles before ending without incident, police said.
Charges were filed through District Judge Heidi Wright's office.
Commercial vehicle hit and run
MILL HALL -- On Feb. 18, at approximately 9:26 p.m., a hit and run crash occurred in the parking lot of the Flying J travel center after one tractor trailer backed into a parking spot and swiped the semi trailer of another parked and occupied truck, according to state police at Lamar.
The truck that caused damage drove off from the scene and minor damage was visible to the remaining vehicle, police said.
Citations to be filed pending information being obtained on the driver, according to police.
Damage to Riverview Park
LOCKPORT -- Woodward Township Police arrested Emma J. Dickey, 18, of Blanchard, on Sept. 1 following incidents that occurred at Riverview Park on three dates, on June 23, at approximately 1:30 a.m., June 25, at approximately 11:30 p.m., and June 27 at approximately 11:40 p.m., according to police.
Dickey, along with others, drove her vehicle onto the park grounds and caused over $11,000 in damage, and drove in a reckless manner with people hanging out of the windows, police said.
Dickey is charged with felony criminal mischief, misdemeanor disorderly conduct, trespass by motor vehicle and reckless driving and was arraigned before District Judge Keith Kibler, being released on a $5,000 unsecured bail on Sept. 1, police said.
Physical harassment
MILL HALL -- State police at Lamar responded to a domestic at a residence in Mill Hall on July 17, at approximately 12:15 a.m.
Through investigation, it was determined that both parties, Levi Saxon, 22, and John Saxon, 27, both of Mill Hall, were equally responsible for the altercation and both parties were charged with harassment, police said.
