Jersey Shore teen faces additional charges
JERSEY SHORE -- Already facing a slew of charges, a Jersey Shore teen has now been hit with additional counts of corruption of minors, furnishing alcohol to minors and possession of alcohol by a person under 21, according to a Lycoming Regional Police affidavit.
Authorities charged Gage Michael Murray, 19, of 322 Thompson St., Jersey Shore, with the additional offenses after two juveniles reported that Murray allegedly provided them with alcohol at his residence on July 24.
Murray allegedly also engaged in sexual activity with one of the females, however she stated the contact was consensual.
Murray was arraigned on the charges by District Judge Denise Dieter, and released on $35,000 bail.
Indecent exposure
MILL HALL -- A 23-year-old Bald Eagle Township resident was charged with indecent exposure following an incident involving a juvenile along Lionel Lane, Bald Eagle Township on July 28, state police at Lamar said.
At 8:19 p.m., police alleged Camden Moore "exposed his flaccid penis in public" which was seen by a 15-year-old Bald Eagle Township female, police said.
Moore was charged with indecent exposure through District Judge Heidi Wright's office.
Man arrested for DUI after coming to police barracks
LAMAR -- A 55-year-old Mill Hall man who believed there were people in the bed of his truck was arrested for driving under the influence on Aug. 6, state police at Lamar said.
At 11:36 p.m., Robert Fuge drove his 2016 Nissan Frontier to the Lamar barracks, alleging there were people in the bed of his truck, police said.
During the investigation, it was found that Fuge was under the influence of a controlled substance and arrested for DUI, police said.
Woman arrested for provocative dancing at park
DUNNSTABLE -- A 40-year-old Pennsylvania woman was cited for disorderly conduct after police were called to a park in Dunnstable Township for reports of a disturbance, state police at Lamar said.
Police were called to the park at 11:37 a.m. on Aug. 12 for reports of a woman "dancing at the park in only her underwear."
When troopers arrived, they located the woman, Traci Savlo, who was dancing provocatively in nude colored underwear in the presence of two people who were offended, police said.
Salvo was issued a citation for disorderly conduct and instructed to leave the park, police said.
LH man allegedly threatened woman with knife
JERSEY SHORE -- Colton Wagner, 29, of Lock Haven, was arrested on multiple charges after he pulled a knife on a woman and threatened to kill her during a domestic disturbance in the 100 block of Bridge Street in Jersey Shore about 4:30 p.m. on Aug. 2, Lycoming Regional police alleged in an affidavit.
Following a recent preliminary hearing before District Judge Denise Dieter, Wagner was held for court on charges of terroristic threats, possessing an instrument of crime, simple assault, disorderly conduct and criminal mischief.
Initially jailed, Wagner has since been released on $20,000 bail.
Non-animal cruelty
SOUTH RENOVO -- On Aug. 17, at approximately 6:15 p.m., state police at Lamar responded to the 100 block of Susquehanna Avenue, South Renovo, for a fight between two dogs, police said.
Both dogs received minor injuries that did not require veterinarian care, according to police.
State police at Lamar would like to remind all pet owners to have your animals leashed and under direct control.
Vehicle rear-ended
FLEMINGTON -- On Aug. 14, at approximately 11:48 a.m., a two vehicle crash occurred at the intersection of High Street and Huston Street as a 2009 Chevrolet Impala, driven by Patty J. Workman, 58, of Mill Hall, was rear ended while stopped at a red light, according to state police at Lamar.
A 2013 Hyundai Elantra, driven by Patricia A. Hackenbery, 87, of Mill Hall, was unable to stop in time and rear ended Workman, police said.
No injuries were reported.
Physical contact
between parties
RENOVO -- On Aug. 4, at 12:51 a.m., a disturbance was reported at a residence near Ontario Avenue in Renovo, according to state police at Lamar.
It is alleged that the victim, a 47-year-old female of Renovo, was punched by another female known as Bree and a male known as Jay, with a cell phone being taken by another male known as Junior, police said.
The incident is currently under investigation. Anyone who is able to identify the above suspects is asked to contact trooper Bowers at the PSP Lamar Barracks at 570-726-6000.
Retail theft
MILL HALL -- Edward Lawrence, 81, of Doylestown, was charged through MDJ 25-3-02 on July 13, at approximately 2:24 p.m., after state police at Lamar received information about three retail thefts totalling $79.13 that took place at Weis Markets in Mill Hall on May 20, June 5 and July 1.
Alleged harassment
LOGANTON -- On Aug. 18, at approximately 4 p.m., an alleged harassment took place along East Main Street in Loganton, according to state police at Lamar.
The investigation was deemed to be unfounded, police said.
Car hits sign
LAMAR -- On Aug. 15, at approximately 6:26 a.m., a 2013 Nissan Pathfinder was traveling west on I-80 at mile marker 173 in the left travel lane when it traveled southeast off the roadway for approximately 60 yards, according to state police at Lamar.
The vehicle then struck a sign and a culvert before coming to a stop, police said.
The driver of the vehicle sustained minor injuries and the vehicle sustained moderate cosmetic damage, police said.
