Roadway obstruction causes damage LOGANTON — A single vehicle was involved in an accident on Oct. 30 at approximately 2:52 a.m. while traveling east on Interstate 80 near mile marker 191.9, according to state police at Lamar. PHILLIPSBURG — A man died of self-inflicted injuries after a standoff with law enforcement in Philipsburg that lasted nearly 12 hours, state police confirmed Thursday. The man, who has not been officially identified by authorities but has been named by news outlets as Ian M. Stephenson, barricaded himself inside an apartment on North Second Street around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday after police arrived to serve a warrant for child sex abuse charges.
