Bail denied for LH man accused of repeated rape of young boy

BELLEFONTE — A 39-year-old Lock Haven man is behind bars in Centre County, with bail denied, after a lengthy investigation into allegations of repeated rape of a young boy for several years. WJAC reported that Michael Oglesby is accused of molesting the victim at residences in both Centre and Clinton counties, starting when the boy was between 8 or 9 years old. According to an affidavit, police allege the victim recalled at least 13 incidents of alleged sexual abuse which continued until he was 10 or 11 years old. PORT MATILDA — The United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania announced that Jacob Buckley, 22, of Port Matilda, Centre County, was charged by criminal information for threatening Donald J. Trump as the President-elect. Bicyclist struck LOCK HAVEN — Lock Haven City Police recently investigated a vehicle accident involving a bicyclist on July 14. According to police, at 6:42 a.m., Victoria Boyle was driving her vehicle near the intersection of Second Avenue and Linden Street when a cyclist, name not listed, entered the intersection without stopping at a stop sign, causing them to strike her vehicle. Two vehicle accident MILESBURG — On July 7, around 11 a.m., state police at Rockview were called to a two vehicle crash on South Eagle Valley Road at the intersection with the I-80 East ramp in Boggs Township. Police said Angela M. Lucas, 60, of Milesburg, was traveling south on S. Eagle Valley Road in a 2009 Dodge Caravan when Earl D. Stauffer, 70, of Bellefonte, turned left from S. Three injured, one seriously, in hydroplaning accident MILESBURG — A 47-year-old Butler man was taken to Mount Nittany Medical Center by Bellefonte EMS with suspected serious injuries following a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 80 East caused by hydroplaning, according to state police at Rockview.
