Dorsey Ross to speak on being an ‘overcomer’
DORSEY ROSS
MILESBURG — The community is invited to Freedom Life Church this Sunday to hear a message of hope from special guest Dorsey Ross.
Dorsey will share that at his birth, doctors told his parents he likely wouldn’t survive, and they recommended sending him to an institution to live out his days. His parents declined medical advice and took Dorsey home. He was later diagnosed with Apert Syndrome, which affects the formation of the head, hands and feet. Throughout the span of his life, Dorsey has endured more than 60 surgeries, as well as the pain of bullying and being treated as an outcast.
He will share his inspiring message as an “overcomer” and encourage listeners to face their struggles and challenges with renewed strength.
Freedom Life will offer two identical services, at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. All first-time visitors will also receive a gift, and children are welcome to participate in the exciting FL Kids programs.
