BLANCHARD — On Friday, Nov. 12 and Saturday, Nov. 13, the ladies at Blanchard Church of Christ will be hosting a Sister 2 Sister Women’s Conference.

This conference for ladies and teen girls is led by Julie Nevel, Christian contemporary recording artist, song writer and author from Harrisburg, Pa. The Friday session will begin at 7 p.m. The Saturday session will begin with continental breakfast at 8:30 a.m. and conclude at 4 p.m. Masks are optional for Sister 2 Sister.

Registration fee for both days of the conference is $25. Registration fee for just Friday is $10; the fee for just Saturday is $15. Registration forms are available online on the church website at www.blanchardchurchofchrist.com or registration will be available at the door.

Julie Nevel created Sister 2 Sister to bring ladies of all ages together to be encouraged through the Word of God, and she has led these women’s conferences all over the world.

This year’s guest speaker will be Kristy Steppe from Cogan Station. Kristy leads Women’s Ministry at Cogan Station Christian Church where her husband, Jeff, is lead pastor. Kristy will speak on the theme “Soooo Good!”

In addition to uplifting worship and inspirational speaking, the conference will also include Saturday lunch and “fluff time” for all who attend. “Fluff time” will be the ladies’ opportunity to be pampered by choosing from a variety of activities such as foot massage, manicures, crafts, prayer walk as well as classes on nutrition, personal meditation, and more!
