LAMAR -- The Lamar Lighthouse Camp is excited to announce that -- with the generosity of the community, including grants from Clinton County Community Foundation, numerous monetary gifts and pledges, hours of volunteer labor and many prayers -- it will dedicate its new building called "The Gathering Place" on July 10.
The festivities will kick off with a potluck meal at 4:45 p.m. followed by the dedication service at 6:30 p.m. and "Avenue Trio" in concert at 7 p.m. Following the concert enjoy an afterglow ice cream social. Everyone is invited!
Family Camp will continue the week of July 11-17 with programs for all ages from 9:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. Evening services will be held at 7 p.m. and are open to the public.
Throughout the summer, Gospel Concerts will be held each Sunday night at 7 p.m. through Sept. 18. They include:
-- Recreation on July 17.
-- The Hyssongs on July 24.
-- Seger Family on July 31.
-- The Lore Family on Aug. 7.
-- The Millers on Aug. 14.
-- Brothers in Grace on Aug. 21.
-- New Journey on Aug. 28.
-- Pennycoff Family on Sept. 4.
-- Victory Trio on Sept. 11.
-- The GloryWay Quartet on Sept. 18.
