Recycling help

YARNELL -- Yarnell United Methodist Church would like your help in recycling. The church is collecting plastic bags that will be recycled and made into a bench for the church yard.

Through Trex Recycling, the church team needs to collect more than 500 pounds of plastic (that's about 40,500 plastic bags) in a six-month span then Trex will donate a high-performance composite bench to the church.

Plastic bags and film of all sizes can be collected, but it must be kept clean and dry.

So, grab a large plastic bag and fill it up with your grocery bags, dry cleaning bags, Ziploc bags of all sizes, bread bags (turn inside out to dump out the bread crumbs), plastic wrap from cases of water, toilet paper and paper towels, shrink wrap and bubble wrap. Once your bag is filled it can be dropped off to Donna who lives near the Yarnell UM Church.
