LOCK HAVEN -- Dr. Ellen Davis, of Cogan Station, has been hired as director of music at Great Island Presbyterian Church in Lock Haven. Along with her duties as director, Dr. Davis also directs the adult choir and the handbell choir.
Dr. Davis was schooled at Wheaton College and The Claremont Graduate School.
All community members are invited to join these groups in producing meaningful music while having fun.
The groups rehearse at the church on Wednesday evenings at 6 p.m. (handbells) and 7 p.m. (choir) weekly. No previous experience is necessary.
