Annual Spring Bazaar
JERSEY SHORE -- St. James Lutheran Church located at 3242 Middle Road, Jersey Shore, will hold its annual Spring Bazaar on Saturday, March 25, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The general public can purchase a hot lunch, homemade soups, hamburg BBQ and hot dogs as well as homemade bake goods including pies, cakes, cookies, fudge, brownies and more.
There will also be an assortment of items from their white elephant table, including collectibles and numerous bric-a-brac items.
The church also invites you to attend their regular worship service every Sunday at 10 a.m.
Easter Bible Studies
FLEMINGTON -- Flemington First Church of Christ will hold Sunday Night, Easter Bible Studies from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. beginning Sunday, March 5, and running each week through April 2.
Doughnut Sale
JERSEY SHORE -- Fresh Homemade Doughnuts will be available from the Trinity UM Church, 1407 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore, on Thursday, March 16. The cost will be $6/dozen or $3 for half dozen. It is best to pre-order by calling 570-398-2913, Monday – Friday only from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. Walk-in sales will also be available from 7 a.m. – 4 p.m. on the day of the sale or until sold out. Pick-ups and walk-ins should use the Glover Street Entrance.
Indiana Wesleyan University Chorale in Concert
BEECH CREEK -- The Indiana Wesleyan University Chorale ensemble will be performing at the Beech Creek Wesleyan Church, 217 Main St., Beech Creek, on Sunday, March 5, with the concert beginning at 6 p.m.
The ensemble has appeared as musical guests for Dr. Robert Schuller's "Hour of Power" at the Crystal Cathedral and have performed in Europe with concerts at Christ Church College Chapel, Oxford, England; St Paul's Cathedral, London, England; and Sacre Coeur, Paris, France.
Revival
LOCK HAVEN -- Lock Haven First Church of Christ, 330 N. Vesper St., Lock Haven, will host a revival March 12-15 at 6 p.m. nightly with Ryan Martin, a disciple on fire. During a time of confusion, his goal is to reignite the church. Everyone is welcome to come. There is lots of free parking.
Soup Sale & Luncheon
HOWARD -- The Howard United Methodist Church will sponsor a community soup sale on Thursday, March 16, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. in the church fellowship hall. Eat in or take outs available. Dine-in lunch includes soup, rolls, dessert and beverage for $7. Take out quarts of soup (vegetable beef, ham and bean, chicken corn or chicken noodle) are available in freezable containers. Pre-orders for quarts of soup should be made by the Sunday prior to luncheon by contacting Patti Long at 814-625-2182.
Proceeds from soup sales are designated to local missions in the area. Invite a friend, come for lunch and enjoy a time of good food and fellowship while supporting a worthy cause!
This will be the last soup sale and luncheon until the fall months, so come out and get yours and stock up on take-outs to enjoy later.

IF gathering
ZION -- Hadassah Women's Ministry invites all women to join its members as they gather together for IF: Gathering 2023 on March 3-4 at Zion Community Church. Cost is $20 per person and includes access to the event, breakout session and meals. On Friday there will be beverages and snacks and on Saturday there will be beverages, snacks and a catered lunch.

Soup Sale
FLEMINGTON -- St. Luke's United Church of Christ in Flemington will be having a soup sale on Saturday, March 11, from 9 a.m. to noon. Soup will cost $7 a quart and be available for take out only. Soups available will be vegetable beef, chicken corn soup and ham and bean soup. Call the church office at 570-748-5741 and leave an order message on the answering machine before or on March 9.
Lenten fish fries
LOCK HAVEN -- Holy Spirit Parish will be holding their annual Lenten fish fries at the parish center, 3 E. Walnut St., Lock Haven.
This year's fries will be drive-thru only. The meal will consist of baked or fried fish, macaroni and cheese, stewed tomatoes, coleslaw, bread and a dessert for $15.
The fish fry will take place every Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. through Lent except on Good Friday.
Sing alongs
MILL HALL -- Covenant United Methodist Church holds sing-alongs the second and fourth Fridays of each month. Each runs from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the church sanctuary and features old favorites. The public is invited. Songbooks are provided with Kay Bossert leading and Pam Blesh playing the piano.
Coffee club
FLEMINGTON -- Flemington First Church of Christ, 714 Canal St., holds Coffee Club every Thursday morning from 8:30-10 a.m.
Youth group
FLEMINGTON -- Flemington First Church of Christ, 714 Canal St., holds its Youth Group meetings on Thursdays from 6-8 p.m. The group is open to grades kindergarten through fourth and also fifth through twelfth.
