Blood Drive
FLEMINGTON -- Flemington First Church of Christ, 714 Canal St., will hold a Red Cross Blood Drive on Friday April 21 from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Homemade donut sale
JERSEY SHORE -- Trinity United Methodist Church, 1407 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore, will hold its final homemade donut sale until the fall.
Donuts will be available for pick up starting at 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. using the Glover Street entrance.
Preorders are being accepted Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. by calling 570-398-2913. Cost is $6 a dozen or $3 for half a dozen.
Walk ins will be accommodated starting at 7 a.m. the day of the event until all sold out.
Spring yard and bake sales
FLEMINGTON -- St. Luke's United Church of Christ, 1175 W. Fourth St., Flemington will be holding a Spring Yard Sale and Bake Sale. The sale will be held Friday, May 5 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Saturday, May 6 from 9 a.m. to Noon. The kitchen will be opened on Friday only for lunch, sandwiches and vegetable beef soup will be served and soup will also be sold by the quart for $7. There will yard sale items, baked goods. Everyone is invited to attend.
Ladies Day Out
FLEMINGTON -- Area women are invited to Hillview Wesleyan Church, 1200 W. 4th St., Lock Haven, free ladies day out. The event will take place on April 22 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the church's Fellowship Building. This year's theme is "Leaping and Landing."
Get away from the busyness of life as you relax with friends, share laughter and stories, and spend time with God.
A light lunch will be served and all participants will receive a goodie bag.

Yard sale
LOCK HAVEN -- The youth group for First Church of Christ, 330 N. Vesper St., Lock Haven, is holding a yard sale on April 28 and 29 at the church. The sale will include various items along with food. Proceeds will benefit area youth.
BBQ and soup sale
FLEMINGTON -- Flemington First Church of Christ's Hands and Feet Ministry will hold a BBQ and Soup Sale on Saturday, April 29 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the church, 714 Canal St.
Gospel Sing
MILESBURG -- Milesburg Baptist Church, 110 Market St., Milesburg, will be hosting a music event by the Jeremy Goodling Music Ministry at the church on Sunday, April 16, at 6 p.m. The church doors will be open at 5:30 p.m. for the community to attend this concert.
The Jeremy Goodling Music Ministry states, "Each concert is an opportunity for Jeremy to sing songs with a real message and encouragement, as well as sharing a short testimony and challenge. The songs you would hear at Jeremy's concerts offer a variety of Christian styles that all ages can enjoy."
The concert is free, but if you would like to donate to the Jeremy Goodling Music Ministry there will be an opportunity to do so at the event.

Collection
HOWARD -- Marsh Creek Brethren in Christ Church is collecting new and gently used shoes for the Gospel Tide. Shoes will be collected during March and April. If other churches in our area would agree to collect shoes and serve as drop-off points that would be great. Bonnie Young, the church shoe donation coordinator, is willing to collect the shoes and transport them to Gospel Tide at the end of April. Call Bonnie at 570-962-2665 for info.
Sing alongs
MILL HALL -- Covenant United Methodist Church holds sing-alongs the second and fourth Fridays of each month. Each runs from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the church sanctuary and features old favorites. The public is invited. Songbooks are provided with Kay Bossert leading and Pam Blesh playing the piano.

Youth group
FLEMINGTON -- Flemington First Church of Christ, 714 Canal St., holds its Youth Group meetings on Thursdays from 6-8 p.m. The group is open to grades kindergarten through fourth and also fifth through twelfth.
