Yard and Bake Sale
JERSEY SHORE -- First United Methodist Church, 236 S. Main St., Jersey Shore, will have a yard and bake sale on Friday, April 21, and on Saturday, April 22. The sales hours are 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Yard sale and baked goods
BEECH CREEK -- The Laurel Run United Methodist Church is having a yard sale on Friday, April 28, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Saturday, April 29, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at their church located at 2899 Laurel Run Road, Beech Creek. In addition to numerous yard sale items, the church will also be selling baked goods at the event.
GloryWay Concert
BEECH CREEK -- The Beech Creek Wesleyan Church is hosting GloryWay on Sunday, April 23, with the concert beginning at 6 p.m. A love offering will be collected to show support and appreciation for their ministry. Pastor Alan Eckenroad hopes to provide a nice audience for GloryWay and invites everyone to attend the concert! Beech Creek Wesleyan Church is located at 217 Main St., Beech Creek.
Yard Sale
HOWARD -- Howard United Methodist Church will have its annual Yard Sale this year on May 4-6. On Thursday the yard sale hours will be 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and again from 5-8 p.m. Friday and Saturday hours will be from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. The yard sale is held in the fellowship room of the church. Donut Sale
JERSEY SHORE -- A fresh, homemade donut sale will be held on Thursday, April 20, at Trinity UM Church, 1407 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore. Please use the Glover Street entrance. It is best to call 570-398-2913 to place your pre-orders. Call weekdays from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. ONLY to pre order. Walk-ins will be accommodated starting at 7 a.m. on the day of the sale until 4 p.m., or until all are sold out. The cost of the donuts is $6/dozen or $3/half dozen.
This will be the last donut sale until the fall months arrive.
Yard and bake sale
FLEMINGTON -- St. Luke's United Church of Christ, 1175 W. Fourth St., Flemington, will be holding a Spring Yard and Bake Sale on Friday, May 5, from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. The kitchen will be open for lunch. Sandwiches and vegetable beef soup will be available. Soup will also be sold by the quart for take-out for $7. There will be yard sale items and baked goods. Everyone is invited to attend.
Please note the sale for Saturday, May 6, has been canceled.
Ladies Day Out
FLEMINGTON -- Area women are invited to Hillview Wesleyan Church, 1200 W. 4th St., Lock Haven, for a free Ladies Day Out. The event will take place on April 22 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the church's Fellowship Building. This year's theme is "Leaping and Landing."
Get away from the busyness of life as you relax with friends, share laughter and stories, and spend time with God.
A light lunch will be served and all participants will receive a goodie bag.

Yard sale
LOCK HAVEN -- The youth group for First Church of Christ, 330 N. Vesper St., Lock Haven, is holding a yard sale on April 28 and 29 at the church. The sale will include various items along with food. Proceeds will benefit area youth.
Gospel Sing
MILESBURG -- Milesburg Baptist Church, 110 Market St., Milesburg, will be hosting a music event by the Jeremy Goodling Music Ministry at the church on Sunday, April 16, at 6 p.m. The church doors will be open at 5:30 p.m. for the community to attend this concert.
The Jeremy Goodling Music Ministry states, "Each concert is an opportunity for Jeremy to sing songs with a real message and encouragement, as well as sharing a short testimony and challenge. The songs you would hear at Jeremy's concerts offer a variety of Christian styles that all ages can enjoy."
The concert is free, but if you would like to donate to the Jeremy Goodling Music Ministry there will be an opportunity to do so at the event.

Shoe Collection
HOWARD -- Marsh Creek Brethren in Christ Church is collecting new and gently used shoes for the Gospel Tide. Shoes will be collected during April. If other churches in our area would agree to collect shoes and serve as drop-off points that would be great. Bonnie Young, the church shoe donation coordinator, is willing to collect the shoes and transport them to Gospel Tide at the end of April. Call Bonnie at 570-962-2665 for info.
Sing alongs
MILL HALL -- Covenant United Methodist Church holds sing-alongs the second and fourth Fridays of each month. Each runs from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the church sanctuary and features old favorites. The public is invited. Songbooks are provided with Kay Bossert leading and Pam Blesh playing the piano.

FLEMINGTON -- Flemington First Church of Christ, 714 Canal St., holds Coffee Club every Thursday morning from 8:30-10 a.m.
Youth group
FLEMINGTON -- Flemington First Church of Christ, 714 Canal St., holds its Youth Group meetings on Thursdays from 6-8 p.m. The group is open to grades kindergarten through fourth and also fifth through twelfth.
