Spaghetti dinner
MILL HALL -- Bald Eagle United Presbyterian Church, 111 Main St., Mill Hall, will hold a take-out only spaghetti dinner on Saturday, May 20 from 4 to 6 p.m.
Cost for the meal is $10 and includes spaghetti, meatballs, bread and dessert. For tickets call 570-726-4112.

JERSEY SHORE -- Oriole Methodist Church, 39 Main Road, Jersey Shore, will be holding a yard sale on Friday, May 12 and Saturday, May 13 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church.
Fifth Sunday Service
LAMAR -- Lamar United Methodist Church will host her sister churches, Flemington and Mill Hall, for a 5th Sunday Service on April 30 at 10:30 a.m. A fellowship dinner will follow. Meat and beverages will be provided. Bring a covered dish to share. If you cannot bring a covered dish just join for food and fellowship. All are welcome!

LOCK HAVEN -- The Lock Haven First Church of Christ's S.A.I.N.T.S. will be participating in the Lock Haven Community Wide Yard Sale on April 29 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The sale will include a variety of gently used items. The group will also have hotdogs, chips and drinks for sale.

BEECH CREEK -- The Laurel Run United Methodist Church is having a yard sale on Saturday, April 29, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at their church located at 2899 Laurel Run Road, Beech Creek. In addition to numerous yard sale items, the church will also be selling baked goods at the event.

HOWARD -- Howard United Methodist Church will have its annual Yard Sale this year on May 4-6. On Thursday the yard sale hours will be 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and again from 5-8 p.m. Friday and Saturday hours will be from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. The yard sale is held in the fellowship room of the church. Yard and bake sale
FLEMINGTON -- St. Luke’s United Church of Christ, 1175 W. Fourth St., Flemington, will be holding a Spring Yard and Bake Sale on Friday, May 5, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The kitchen will be open for lunch. Sandwiches and vegetable beef soup will be available. Soup will also be sold by the quart for take-out for $7. There will be yard sale items and baked goods. Everyone is invited to attend.

Sing-alongs
MILL HALL -- Mill Hall Presbyterian church holds sing-alongs the second and fourth Fridays of each month. Each runs from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the church sanctuary and features old favorites. The public is invited. Songbooks are provided with Kay Bossert leading and Pam Blesh playing the piano.

LOCK HAVEN -- The youth group for First Church of Christ, 330 N. Vesper St., Lock Haven, is holding a yard sale on April 29 at the church. The sale will include various items along with food. Proceeds will benefit area youth.
Shoe Collection
HOWARD -- Marsh Creek Brethren in Christ Church is collecting new and gently used shoes for the Gospel Tide. Shoes will be collected during April. Bonnie Young, the church shoe donation coordinator, lives in the Beech Creek area and is willing to collect the shoes and transport them to Gospel Tide at the end of April. If anyone has any shoes to donate that need picked up locally, call Bonnie this week at 570-962-2665.

FLEMINGTON - Flemington First Church of Christ, 714 Canal St., holds Coffee Club every Thursday morning from 8:30-10 a.m.
Youth group
FLEMINGTON -- Flemington First Church of Christ, 714 Canal St., holds its Youth Group meetings on Thursdays from 6-8 p.m. The group is open to grades kindergarten through fourth and also fifth through twelfth. The meeting starts off each Thursday with a meal, followed by a lesson and game time. Call 570-726-8009 for more details.

Charlton Chapel
LOCK HAVEN -- Charlton Chapel, 46 Church Hill Road, Lock Haven, an Independent Bible Church, has changed its Sunday service times from 8:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. each week.
The church also received a new Carillon, which Rev. Dr. Byron Reynolds is currently reviewing for use each Sunday.
