A man's credibility is determined by the validity of his words. If he vows to take care of or complete a situation and those around him do not see fruition of those words, chances are they and others will not trust him in any future engagements. Otherwise, a man is known by the words he keeps.
God's word never fails. Proverbs 30:5 -- every word of God is flawless; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him.
In Numbers 23:19 it says that God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
In Isaiah 9:6,7 it was told of the birth of Jesus and about 700 years later the Word became flesh and dwelt among us. The chances of the birth of Jesus in Bethlehem, prophesied in Micah 5:2 were calculated by a professor in Westmont College, to be one in 500,000; giving testimony to the truth of God's Word.
The Word of God also foretold empires to collapse hundreds of years before their demise. It also gave the prophecy of Israel becoming a nation after years of desolation. The word of God has proven in so many ways to be accurate and truthful.
I have shared this proof of the authority of the Bible with you in order for you to seek first it’s wisdom in all circumstances. It will give you peace and hope when you need it, examples of how to deal with crisis and concerns but the greatest of all truth, is the hope for salvation. It does not lie concerning this important topic.
John 3:16 is not just a verse to be quoted and forgotten; it gives us precise information. John 3:15-17 completes the full gospel of Christ, 15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.
When you observe the world situation and have been disturbed by what you see, then seek the
truth of this Word of God, for it is powerful to save your soul and give you peace.
Remember that God is not a man that He should lie.
