BELLEFONTE -- Freedom Life Church is launching a preschool program this fall to come alongside parents to help their children develop a biblical worldview.
Freedom Academy welcomes children ages 3-5 to enroll. Classes will begin Sept. 5 and continue every Tuesday and Thursday, 9 a.m.-11:30 a.m. through May. The preschool will meet at Freedom Life Church, located at 113 Sunset Acres, Bellefonte.
Freedom Academy champions God's design of the family and is passionate about empowering families to train up the next generation of world changers. It is committed to creating a community anchored in God's Word and cultivating greatness through encouragement, education and discipleship.
"Our first year of preschool will focus on four primary areas: letter and number recognition, motor skills, life skills and Bible," explains Freedom Academy Director and Preschool Teacher Shevel Simonetti. "We're excited to offer our community a dynamic environment where children can enjoy hands-on learning and healthy friendships."
Children are not required to attend Freedom Life Church to enroll. Freedom Academy will host an Open House on Tuesday, Aug. 15, from 6-8 p.m. at its facility. Families are welcome to utilize this time to tour the building, ask questions and complete applications.
Simonetti serves alongside her husband, Josh, who is the Freedom Life Centre County Campus Pastor, and they have three daughters. Simonetti has 16 years of experience in childcare, preschool and ministry. She enjoys teaching through exploring, touching, movement, reading and song. Shevel's goal is to partner with parents to help their children thrive academically and spiritually.
